"Man, I haven't had real food since I left man. Fast food ain't it, I swear." Onyx laughed and shook his head as he ate the food on his plate.

Everyone looked at each other with looks of concern while Phoenix was just sitting there in his face, cheesing. "You really like it? I learned it from Youtube."

"You did fantastic mama, thank you." He kissed her cheek and opened his arm so she could sit on his lap while he ate. "I missed you so much man. After this trip I uh... took leave." He cleared his throat, "We can spend all the time you want together."

"You didn't!" Phe gasped, "Okay, I have to start planning! I'll be back, can Madi come with us sometimes?"

Phe now stood next to Onyx, holding his hand tightly and his eyes flickered to Madi who did the same. She briefly raised her eyebrows and put her cup to her lips.

"Yeah, the more the merrier." Onyx hummed and they looked away from each other, he kissed his sisters hand and watched the girls scurry off in excitement.

"It's nice to see you, son. It's been a while." Hoff spoke up first, "You... okay?"

"Yeah, dad, peachy honestly. I feel so... alive." Onyx said breathily, being heavily animated with his hands. "See, at first, I was beating myself up, I couldn't even sleep without seeing what I did to them kids. I think what was fucking me up the most was the fact they were so close to baby's age, it hit close to home." He shrugged and continue to stuff his face.

Ares and Amon sat next to each other, holding hands while they stared at their brother. Prince and Hoff on the other hand looked at the surface of the island, not knowing what to do or say.

"But then I stopped giving a fuck." He let out a chuckle and looked at everyone, smiling again. "Oh, and uh, I killed Davison too, I didn't go by myself though but I was the one to do it."

"I, you what?" Prince's eyes went wide and he looked at Amon and Ares. "You knew."

Outside of the Phoenix drama, Prince literally was someone that's been working with them for years, he was never the one to be out of the loop the way he is now.

"Why y'all ain't tell him?" Onyx furrowed his eyebrows and the Alsina brothers looked away from him and stared at Prince, shrugging.

"Guess he wasn't important enough to remember." Ares said and rolled his eyes.

"Ooookay?" Onyx briefly raised his eyebrows and clapped his hands together, standing up, "Girls, come back down! Something we gotta talk about!" He called out, not even looming behind him because he knew everyone else followed after him.

"Yes, Ony?" Phe jogged down the steps and up to him, looking up at him as she tugged the strings of her hoodie.

Madison sat down and pulled Phe with her after Onyx kissed her head. "So like I told baby, I'm on a temporary leave with my job so I'll be around a lot more than I usually am." He eyed the entire family. "I honestly don't care to know what I've missed, we can discuss that at a later date but for right now, I just wanna spend time wit' y'all so tomorrow we're all going out as a family, dad did you want to come?"

"I have trainees all morning." Hoff answered.

"No sweat, me and Mo will come see you later then. Madison."
