I sat In the floor and Kate was in front of me along with a girl I didnt know. they had a fan on my face "you okay?" the girl ask "yea why?" I look at them confused "you took a little stumble there you must've got to hot" Kate said "no one saw me right?" "no you were right here" max says laughing a little coming up behind them I look at Kate and then the girl. "oh sorry y/n this is my girlfriend Kelly. Kelly this is y/n" he says "nice to meet you" I say "such an odd circumstance too. but dont worry I won't tell anyone" she says. I let out a breathe I didnt even know I was holding in "okay good" "let's get you to your room so you can change" Kate says.  "but we still have stuff to do like post on social media and talk with the team and-" "y/n cool down first then we will" max says as they help me up Kelly and Kate walk with me to my drivers room. they shut the door and I unzip my race suit and change into what I had on before. I pulled on my hat and I felt better

I look at Kate and Kelly "you feeling okay?" Kate ask i nod sitting down I fold up my things and Kate packs them neatly into my suitcase with my gear in it. Kelly handed me my water and I checked my phone to look at the pictures that Kate always takes of me without me even knowing. then I got a text message

lando- hey when does your flight head out?"

I check what time our flight leaves "shit?" I say looking "what?" Kate looks at me as she finished "our flight got delayed till tomorrow morning at 9" I say "its okay ill let my dad know we can just get like a bottle of wine and celebrate tonight in the hotel" "sounds good to be honest"

me- our flight got delayed until tomorrow morning actually are you leaving tonight?

lando- yea im headed out tonight to go home before next weekend

me- ohh okay well have a safe trip home and dont forget about me

lando- I could never ill see you in Miami right?

I smile at my phone

me- of course

"your texting lando" I snap out of my thoughts "lando?" Kelly ask "yea thats the lando smile" Kate says I feel my face heat up "how the hell did you meet lando and you didnt tell him you're the faceless driver on the grid?" "ummm well we met in the club the other night I mean I haven't told anyone its a secret" I say drinking my drink "Id say she's feeling better" Kate says

I help Kate pack the rest of my gear up from the last couple of days because it's like 5 days worth.

kelly opens the door and we all rush back to Red Bull garage so I could have a couple of last meetings and debrief and post on social media before we're free to go.
