Part 31

the phone rang and rang before he finally answered "hey y/n" he says happily. "Micheal i need you advice" "whats up is everything okay?" he ask worried. i run my hands through my hair and lay down on the couch looking at the ceiling "y/n? talk to me" "i dont want to lie and say everythings fine when its not." i explain everything about whats happened with brynn and he just listens untill im done. "y/n" "yea?" i ask wiping my tears away. "you know that were all very proud of you and i know your dad would be too. but whatever your comfortable with doing just think about it ok? dont stress yourself itll all fall into place. has your gear got there?" "umm i think" i sit up looking around for my suitcase i find it and wheel it over opening it "what about it?" i ask picking up my phone again. "your helmet not there?" "i dont see it" i say looking around the room.  then there was a knock on the door. i open the door and see max with a box in his hand. "this is for you" he says as i step out of the way for him to come in. he looks at me "have you been crying?" he raises his eyebrow. i nod before taking the box and sitting it down. "what is it?" he looks over my shoulder. i open it carefully to reveal my helmet. tears start formimg in my eyes. "is this my dads helmet?" i ask on the phone as max looks at me concerned "nope. its similar but not identical your dads is still at home" "thank you" i smile "of course i love you have a good race weekend dont stress and be safe, i will see you when you guys get home" he says before we hangup. max looks at me as i take the helmet out of the box and look at it. "thats the same one your dad wore in monaco everytime he raced here" i nod "but its not theres more butterflies on this one the orginal one only had one on it" "why butterflies?" "i was his butterfly" i smile. "is this a clue then?" "it is. Micheal knew exactly what he was doing" i laugh max takes the helmet from me. "it really is beautiful" he says looking at it. "it couldnt come at a better time. i know what to do now" i say before he places it on the shelf "good. now lets go get some food" he says before we walk out to grab some food.

i was sitting at the table across from max scrolling on my phone.

"does kate know that they posted this picture of her?" i ask turning the phoen around to show the photo that redbull posted annoucing her to the team. "yea she does" he laughs

i felt a tap on my shoulder and looked up to see lando walk by he turns around and smiles at me before rushing off with Oscar. i smile before looking at max. "gonna assume thats all good then" he smiles taking a bite of his food. "it is actually" "oh i forgot to tell you that p informed me that you were her favorite aunt and she missed you" my heart felt like it exploded in that moment "max" "hmm?" "that is so sweet shes so sweet. im gonna cry im so emotional today" i laugh "dont cry but i had to tell you because if i didnt she said she was gonna beat me up" "i wanna see that happen" i laugh as he rolls his eyes.  "look at this picture im debating on posting" he showed me a picture of kate and charles walking on the track "post it" i say "but i didnt know if there relationship is out in the open ya know? are they together?" "they are together and after the gala thing everyone found kates insta" "uh oh is she holding up okay?" "well she slept on lando's couch last night. i think they talked it out though because by that picture they look pretty good" i say referring to the picture and we laugh

i walk into lando's house after getting dropped off from charles and kate. it was dark out and lando had to stay a little later for something

i go to the bedroom and change into shorts and a crop top

i set my things down and look in the fridge to see what i could cook for dinner. after pulling out a few things i played some music and began cooking mindng my buisness and didnt even realize lando had came in.  i was singing into the spatula as the song finished i turned and seen lando smiling with his hands in his pockets smiling. i jumped "oh fuck me" i yell. he smiles wider. "you cant do that" i say putting my hand on my chest in shock still. "im sorry love i thought you heard me but that was a amazing sight to see i could watch that for the rest of my life and be happy" he says opening his arms and coming closer engulfing me in a hug. "how was your day?" i ask "it was good but now i just wanna cuddle with you" he says nuzzling his head in my neck "we can soon" i smile at him being lovey. he lets go "also this smells amazing" he walks over to look at the food stil cooking. "well itll be ready soon" "alsooo max is flying in as we speak i forgot to tell you. him and pietra are staying here with us and then my parents and siblings are flying in tomorrow but they are going to stay in a hotel" "sounds good" i say before he comes over leaning down to kiss me softly "im gonna go stream" he says before leaving me alone in the kitchen once again. i watch him disapear into his streaming room as i resume my music jam and finish the food.

i make landos plate and mine and then pour myself a glass of wine.

i take his plate and knock lightly on his streaming room the door opens and he smiles. he takes the plate "thank you your the best" he kisses me softly before i walk off and he takes a seat back in his chair. i grab my food and glass of wine i walk out on the pourch as i hear lando scream and laugh

i sit down and begin eating as i enjoy my time for a little bit until i finish.

i clean up my mess and walk towards lando streaming "she's a friend" i hear him say. i walk in and he turns to look at me smiling "you gonna come watch?" he ask looking at me "maybe for a little bit" i say as he gets up and gets another chair giving me his. i seen the chat flood with comments asking questions. "whats her name?" lando ask looking at me "its a secret" he smiles i laugh at him as i watch him stream a little before i disapear off to the bedroom and crawl in bed turning on a movie waiting for lando to come join.

lando runs in the room jumping on the bed shirtless with max running behind him. he flops on me laughing "lan" i laugh max lands on me too as pietra walks in behind him "hey guys" i say sleepily "were you asleep?" pietra ask "i mightve been i was waiting though" i say as max get up lando turns around so hes looking at them. i run my hands through his curls "how was your flight?" lando ask "it was alright but were so tired and its late" max says. "the sheets in the guest room should be clean and i put more blankets in there incase you get cold" i say sleepily "oh i like you here" pietra laughs "yea lando would let us freeze" max says. i look down at lando who was knocked out "did he really just fall asleep?" i ask suprised. "yea your his person you make him feel safe. that and he just falls asleep anywhere sometimes if he's tired" max laughs "you making breakfast in the morning i heard iyour breakfast is so good. also i heard dinner was too" pietra says "i would but we might just have to go out instead" i laugh a little. "alright were gonna let you go to sleep now goodnight" max says "goodnight guys" i smile "night" pietra says as they shut the door. i shake lando lightly trying to wake him "hmm?" "get under the covers" i say he slowly moves to join me under the covers before pulling me close to him.
