it was just lando and I now. Kate left after lando and her fought who was going to stay and she gave up which wasnt Like her but I know why she did. lando acts like he really cares for me and I think Charles was wondering what she was up to and she cant really say she's at the hospital without him getting suspicious. plus I told her I would be alright and she said she'd be back in the morning
lando and I scrolled on my laptop that Kate had Brought that was in my bag
we argued between movies until we decided to watch 50 first dates.
I layed in the bed trying to get comfortable "you aright?" lando looked at me concerned "yea just cant get comfy" I say resting my head on the pillow. "you hungry?" he ask. I nod "but we just started the movie and its late and I dont want you to leave me" I admit looking him In the eyes. a smile crept on his face. "if you are hungry I will go get you some food or we can see if someone will bring us some" lando says. I nod looking at him as he pulls his phone out. "do you want me to call Oscar? or do you not want to tell him. I can call someone else if not" he says "no im okay with Oscar" I say he calls oscars "hey Oscar can you do me a favor and ill explain when you get here but like can you bring me some food to the hospital?" "yea man ill text it to you thank you" he says and hangs up I look at my iv in my arm and start picking at the tape "what'd he say?" I ask "he said he would what do you want to eat?" he ask. I think about it for a minute before we decide on a local restaurant that was still open even though it was late.
he had texted Oscar our order and put his phone way "y/n stop picking at the tape love" "but its itching" I smile he shakes his head and smiles "I dont like hospitals they make me nervous" I say "dont be your alright and im right here" lando grabs my hand and squeezes it.

we were interested in the movie when there was a knock on the door "come in" lando says.
the door opened slowly and Oscar walked in with a bag in his hand. he looked from me to lando and back to me he smiles at me and walks over and hand our food to lando.
"what happened?" he ask confused. lando handed me my food and I sat up slowly "well Oscar I have a secret" "your the faceless driver" he says. I looked at him with my mouth wide open surprised. lando looked at me and laughed. "she is" "how did you-" "I was just joking around to be honest but thats really cool y/n im glad your okay" he says "thank you" I say. "that was so scary I was a couple of cars behind you and its like everything was in slow motion and I was worried about lando and then I seen that your car was worse and im glad your alright and its you who has been beating us the past couple of weekends" "Oscar you cant tell anyone" "I won't y/n I promise. but I got to get going let me know If you need anything and lando can I talk to you for a minute" he says. lando gets up and walks with him out the door "oh also you might want to let everyone know that your alright everyones panicking that your dead" Oscar says before walking out fully with lando behind him. I grab my phone that was on the table beside me and went on instagram to check and see if red bull had posted and they had

I checked the comments and most people were worried and wishes of safe healing but of course there was a few of "she deserved it" which I dont really understand how someone deserves that no matter who it is and how much you hate them.
@l/n.11- I just want to say thank you for all of the concerns and comments. im doing okay and very thankful for those around me. thanks for all the wishes. im going to use this time to heal and I will see you all in Italy.
I posted it and turned my phone off and sat it down digging into my food as lando walked back in.
I looked at him confused as he sat back down in his seat beside me and started eating his food "what was that about?" "nothing" he smiles. I roll my eyes at him and turn the movie back on as we eat.

the next morning I woke up to knocking on the door.
I opened my eyes and seen lando was laying halfway on the bed with a pillow and sitting in the chair still which did not look comfortable
I look up at the door opening and my doctor comes in "good morning y/n" she smiles "morning" I say she looks at lando "that does not look very comfy" she laughs. I place my hand in hair and run my hand through his curls and laugh at him a little.
"he sleeps just about anywhere" "well I have good news. everything looks good with you. were going to change the bandage on your stomach and on your leg In just a minute" she comes over and unhooks the iv from my arm "then were going to get those discharge papers and were going to get you out of here" she smiles she takes the needle out and replaces it with a bandaid. the nurse comes in with bandage
I look at lando who still had his head down "lando" I say "hmm" "can you sit up" he sits up and moves the pillow and hugs it close to him tightly
the nurse comes over and changes the bandages on my leg and my stomach. lando looked at it both of the spots concerned and sadness in his eyes.
after they were done they left extras for me to take home and walk out.
and Kate, Melissa and Micheal walked in. "looks like we were right on time" Melissa says holding a bag in her hand.
"we've brought you some clothes to change into and our flight leaves in a couple of hours to head home" Micheal says and they hand me the bag. I pull out the sweatpants and the crop top.
I start to get up "woah" lando stands up grabbing onto my waist "im fine" I say "I got her" Kate says and walks over to me and we walk to the bathroom and shut the door. she unties the gown and I pull the crop top on and then the sweatpants. "I feel gross" I say "well you cant shower until tonight" "yes mom" I laugh I look at her and she starts laughing "whats so funny" "your hair" she says. "did you bring me a hairbrush?" I ask "yea but it's in the bag" she says.
I open the door and start walking back to the bed. they watch me closely "you guys act like im fragile" I say sitting back down on the bed. "its just because were worried thats all" Micheal says.
I go through the bag and brush my hair with the hairbrush before Kate comes over and French braids it for me in 2 braids.

I walked into my hotel room with Kate close behind me
I walk in and sit on the bed. "so what are we doin?" "what do you mean what are we doin?" I ask her. "I mean is lando coming to Texas with us or are you going to Monaco with him?" she ask. "we talk about it and hes coming to texas with us for a little bit and then we might fligh to Monaco before the race" I say she smiles at me and she starts gathering my thing "what that face for?" "he cares about you y/n. the right one will do anything for you and he's literally about to board a plane and go back to texas with us. open your eyes and ask the boy out or kiss him or sum damn" she laughs. "that makes me feel bad I should just tell him he can go home and ill be alright alone" I say "no dont do that" she looks at me "what why not?" "because what is it going to hurt?" "me" I say.
she zips up my last suitcase and I grab my backpack as we make sure we have everything and I roll my suitcase out of the room and to kates where she grabs her things and we head to the elevator and down to the lobby.
In the lobby we meet Melissa and micheal and lando.
"Guys did someone get my stuff from the track?" I ask just remembering that I wasn't the one that packed it up since the accident happened "yea I think max actually got it for you he said he'll bring it on the next race" micheal says
"Okay good"
We all walk out and head to the car and to the airport to board our flight home.
