"i have an annoucement" the voice says as we all look around the room trying to find where its coming from. i knew the annoying voice as she stood up on the stage in front of everyone "so i know everyones curious about the faceless driver and i know who it is" brynn smiles widely.
lando wrapped his arm around my waist and pulled me close into him "what the fuck is she doing" i whisper to everyone around me. "i dont know" kelly whispers back
"ive wanted to keep this a secret for a little bit so no one knew but im finally okay with telling everyone that its me! im the faceless driver!" she says and all the cameras start flashing from pictures. "yea im fine after my wreck and i do want to thank everyone for the support and i hope you all continue to support me" i roll my eyes. everyone was asking her questions that she couldnt answer and waved them off. "alright ive seen enough. we ready to go?" i ask kate she nods "yea im ready. charles?" she ask and he agrees i turn to max and kelly "were leaving will we see you later?" "were not sure yet it just depends on p at home and what shes doing" kelly says. i hug her and max then turn to kika and pierre. "if we dont see you later then bye guys" i say hugging kika "ill let you know if anything else happens" she winks at me i mouth thank you to her before lando reaches his hand out for me to grab and we walk out of the venue and head for landos car. i got in the passenger seat and he walked around and got in the drivers seat. i looked out the window as he started driving. "y/n we dont have to go we can just go home" he says and rest his hand on my thigh rubbing it. "no we can go i dont want to ruin the fun for you" i say
we continue to drive to where ever were going i stayed silent the whole way.
i watched the street lights as we went down the road. we pulled up to a gated house with a bunch of cars we parked and i looked over at lando who was already looking at me "talk to me whats going on in that pretty little head of yours" he says grabbing my hand in his and rubbing the top of it with his thumb "brynns face is now connected to me and everyone thinks it me and now im going to get so much hate and i dont know what to do" i say "well christian should be in town how about you text him in the morning or talk when you head to the track tomorrow" i nod at what he says "We will figure it out baby dont worry about it" he says kissing the top of my hand. i lean in to kiss him before he gets out and walks around to open my door and offers me his hand and we head inside.
the night was fun it consisted of dancing, drinking, lando taking over the dj table, dancing with Kate, carmen, and some of the guys
i was having a conversation with kate carlos when a guy came up and started talking to me. being way to friendly. i looked at carlos and kate for help but they walked away as fast as they could. "would you like a drink?" he ask. i look down at the drink i already had in my hand. "umm-"
i felt a presence behind me. the familair arms wrapped around me from behind tightly and his head went into my neck. his chest pressing up against my back as he leans in closer. leaving kisses on my neck. "ive missed you" he whispers i look up to expect the guy to still be standing there but hes gone thankfully. "ive been here the whole night" i say running my hand through his curls. he groans and i smile. i turn around in his grip and look at him. he beautiful eyes meet mine "your so pretty" he says as he puts his hands on my waist. "your drunk lan. do you want to go?" "as long as your going with me" he says and leans in to kiss me. i look to the side so he kisses my cheek "were in public lan what if someone sees us" "let them" he says cupping my face and smashing his lips to mine.
i pulled away because there was commotion towards the back of the house. everyone was going out the door. lando and i look at eachother confused before i grab his hand and we walk out the back sliding glass door and see people jumping into the pool in their dresses and tux's the pool was huge. i look and see charles jumping in and kate standing on the side laughing at him. we walk over to her and she looks at us and smiles. "im not entirely sure how we got to this point" she laughs as she pulls what i assume is charles suit jacket over her shoulders.
