the guy takes my hand and walks me over to the dance floor. we dance a little and he starts to get behind me rubbing up on me I shove him a little "no" I say and stumble back a little "what? you into it" he says trying to get closer I back up and feel someone's arms around my waist engulfing me. the familiar arms of lando Norris.
I let out a sigh of relief
"lets go" he says as we walk out of the club. "but wait Kate" I say. as soon as we step out of the building "she's okay. Charles is on the way to come and get her, Kelly, and kika" he says. "how'd you find me?" he opens the passenger door and helps me in "dont worry about it" he says shutting the door running around to the other side he gets in and I look out the window as we start driving "I thought your flight was tonight" "it was" he says I look at him funny "then why are you here?" "because" he smiles a little "thats not a answer" "it is for you right now" "were you busy?" I ask looking at him again. he looks at me "no I wasn't" then his phone rings he looks at the caller and answers. "hey sorry man I had to leave something came up but hopefully we can get back together soon" we pull into the hotel parking lot as he says his goodbyes and ends his phone call. I try to open the door "no im coming you stay put" he says getting out and walking around to open the door.
he grabs my hand to help me up and grabs my waist to hold me up as he shuts the door and locks the car. we walk into the hotel and to the elevator. he stood behind me with his arm around my waist. we reached the floor and stepped out to walk to my room. I pat myself and realize "shit" I say "what?" he looks at me concerned "Kate has the key" "its okay" he says and we walk back to the elevator and up a floor to lando's room. he unlocked the door and walked in. I stumbled over to the bed and sat down I look at him "my feet hurt" "I know" he says and comes over and kneels down to unbuckle the straps of my heels taking them off one by one "you were busy weren't you" I say as he stands up. he goes over to his things and grabs a t-shirt and hands it to me "for you no." he smiles. i stand up and begin unbuttoning my jeans he turns around. there was a knock on the door. he walks over and opens it slightly so no one can see in. "yea yea she's good thanks for calling me" I heard as I pulled landos shirt over my head.
he shuts the door and locks it. I watch him as he walks over to his things and grabs a pair of shorts to change into since he still had the nose outfit on from going out.
I walk into the bathroom but leaves the door open
"that girl you were with? that your girlfriend?" I let escape my mouth after thinking about it for way too long. I hear a chuckle from the bathroom and a shirtless lando walks out he turns out all the lights and he comes over to the other side of the bed and turns the tv on and pulls back the covering sitting down and sitting up against the headboard. he surfs through the channel and picks a movie. I look at him and then pull back the covers covering up. I move closer and he opens his arm for me to lay in his chest. he rubs my back slightly
"no" he says "what?" I ask confused "she's not my girlfriend. it was the man I was meeting withs sister she had come to get Oscar and I" he says looking down at me and I looked up at him "im sorry" he smiles and plants a gentle kiss on my forehead "im sorry I got drunk and you had to come get me and see me like this. this isn't me-" "y/n its okay theres no one else id rather be with now get some rest" he says and kisses my temple. I sit up and he moves down in the bed more so hes laying flat. I take my spot back in his chest. "goodnight" he says running his hands through my hair. I dont even think I responded ive never fell asleep so fast.

the next morning I woke up with a pounding headache and and arm wrapped around me. I check my phone that was on the nightstand and seen that it was 6am. I had 7 missed phone calls
there was a knock on the door. lando woke up and looked at me confused. "who is at the door?"
he moves his arm and I go and look through the peep whole to see Kate. I open the door. she looks me up and down.
"dude where's your pants?" she laughs
then I felt lando standing in the doorway behind me she looks at him then me. "good morning you two" she says walking up behind her came Charles "ah I have no pants on" I say moving behind lando "my bad" Charles says "look we've got to go" Kate says "okay im coming" I say gathering my clothes and heels and phone i go back to the door and lando moves out of the way he was talking to Charles. Kate and Charles head to the elevator and hold it for me
i give lando a hug and look up at him "thank you again" "of course" he says moving my hair behind my ear "have a safe trip ill see you in Miami" he says. I kiss his cheek quickly and start walking. I look back at him and he smiles at me.
I rush into the elevator and Kate presses the 6th floor button and we go down. I rush to the room and shove everything in my suitcase
I grab a pair of nike pro shorts and slip them on and brush my hair. I go into the bathroom and brush my teeth. I pull my shoes on and pack my last few things in my backpack before pulling it over my shoulder and zipping my bag. I look at Kate who was ready.
I grab my phone and roll my bag and follow Kate out of the room.
Charles hugs Kate "keep her good for me please" he says as we reach the elevator "I'll try" I laugh as we step in. Charles walks away as the elevator shuts. "we're about to talk the whole plane ride home about what happened" Kate says
