I check my phone and see that its 3. ive been on a run for the past 2 hours or so after a work out im heading back to landos to start getting ready for the gala or whatever thats at 7 apparently. lando has been extemly busy today apparently so i havent talked to him much he hasnt even told me whos picking me up or what time to be ready. he just told me goodmorning and that he would see me later tonight which i knew already.
i unlock the door and walk into the apartment throwing the keys on the kitchen counter and walking to the fridge to see if lando has anything to eat. which theres nothing so i just grab a water bottle before theres a knock on the door. i walk over and open it to reveal Brynn i look at her weird "hey?" "hey i was looking for lando we're supposed to be going to this gala tonight but hes not answering my text or anything" she says trying to look behind me in the house. "what gala?" i play dumb "um its not important because you werent invited or anything but is he here?" "no hes out right now maybe buying a suit or something for you?" i say trying to hold my laugh in "oh okay thanks for not being a bitch about it im glad you understand the relationship that lando and i have" she smiles. "oh yea of course brynn. good luck tonight ill let lando know you stopped by" i say laugh a little before shutting the door.
i immediatly call kate and tell her everything that just happened. and we laugh
charles walks in the room because we were being so loud "what are you laughing about?" he ask sticking his face in the camera. "brynn coming over to landos" kate says "how did she even know where he lives?" charles ask "i dont know thats kind of scary." i say "i wouldve slammed the door in her face" kate says. "well i was being nice i let her think what she wants to because i know the truth" "well have you talked to lando?" charles ask me "no i havent have you?" "no" "thats kind of worrying" "im sure hes just busy or on a flight" kate says reassuring me.
We talk a little longer until she says she's gonna start getting ready
I plug my phone up and go into the bathroom to jump in the shower. Shaving and do whatever I need to do before getting out and putting on some shorts and a sports bra so I can start getting ready
I turn on some music and enjoy getting dressed. I dry my hair and curl it braiding a couple of pieces
Then put on a little bit of makeup before looking in the mirror. i check the time and it was like 5:30. i walk out of the bathroom to grab my dress when there was a knock on the door.
i walk to the door and opened it to see kate and charles. kate had her dress on and her hair was done as well as her makeup. charles was in a tux "were here to get you" charles says. "aww guys im not ready" i laugh as they come in and shut the door. "well hurry weve got to go the gala is like a hour away" kate smiles as i disapear off into the bedroom again to pull on my dress "Kate!" i yell as i couldnt get it zipped all the way. she zipped up the dress and i sat down on the bed to pull my heels on before looking at myself in the mirror one last time. "i love this dress" i smile "it looks good on you i cant wait to see everyones reaction" she says we walk out of the bathroom and i turn off the lights in the bedroom
we walk in the living room and charles was on a phone call "yea were about to leave now i think im just waiting on the girls" he says and turns around and see us and smiles. "yea i know. ill see you in a little bit" he says ending the phone call "how do we look?" kate ask "amazing you'll be turning heads and im the lucky guy to be able to walk in with both of you by my side" he smiles. "aww Charles" i laugh at him.

a hour car drive later we arrived at the venue. i was really nervous to be around a bunch of people in a outfit i wasnt extremly comfortable in but hopefully the night goes well. im excited to see lando again and i know once im by his side ill be okay. because hes my person.
