Countless words were being rambled off to me, but I couldn't seem to grasp any of them.
My mind was clouded with thoughts of my boys, and the endless possible problems that could erupt for them.

Is this why Sehun and Luhan are no longer friends with Kai?

Every once in awhile, I would nod my head so that they believed I was listening. I know that they are not telling me all that I need to know, so I can't bring myself to listen fully.

"Ari," Kai stated, shaking one of my shoulders a bit. "Are you even listening to us?"

Well, looks like he caught on.

"Yes," I lie straight through my teeth.
I don't know why I felt the need to do this; maybe because the new information is so overwhelming.

"Okay, guys. I'm going to take her home," Kai states, sensing my change in mood.

"But we were telling stories!" Tao pleads. "Don't you think that she wants to know what we've gone through?"

"Not today," Kai snapped. "Give her time to adjust."

With that, Kai stood up and pulled me off of the bed that I was seated on. Without any goodbyes, Kai lead me out of the room and into his car.

I waited for Kai to speak up, but he never did. So, I took it into my own hands.

"Why are you angry?" I question, examining his tense figure. Kai's fingers gripped tighter onto the steering wheel, making me feel shocked.

"I'm not angry."

"Oh, stop it. I know that you are," I state.

"Please, just stop talking," he muttered, running a hand through his brown locks.

Obeying his wishes, I bit my tongue and kept quiet.
This is the exact reason that I had my suspicions in the beginning.
I knew that Kai was bad, and I should've trusted my first instincts.

I soon noticed that Kai was headed in the direction of his house. There is no way in hell that I am going there tonight.

"Take me to the dorms," I request quickly, avoiding his gaze.

"Why?" He blurts angrily.

"That's why," I mutter, getting irritated with his aggressive tones.

"I'm doing nothing wrong."

"Actually," I begin deviously. "You can take me to Sehun's house."

I knew that it was wrong, but I tend to do stupid things when I am angry. Kai is the same way; that's why we are poison for each other.

"Ari, what the fu-"

"Stop," I cut in.

Kai continued on the route to his home, paying no mind to my wishes. I already knew that he wouldn't take me to Sehun's house; that's a given. But honestly, I thought that he would at least let me go back to the dorms.

"Why are you so angry?" Kai breathed, relaxing a bit. My lips parted, shocked at his obliviousness.

I remained silent, dismissing his constant questions. The car ride was uncomfortable, only containing the phrases that Kai would spill out.

Once we got to his home, I got out of the car on my own and allowed myself inside. I went straight upstairs, and locked myself inside of a guest bedroom.

Kai caught up quickly, knocking helplessly on the door. I heard his endless apologies being spoken through the cracks of the door, but I ignored them and went to lie on the bed.
