"Tell me your confession," I spoke abruptly into the phone. Kai's arms tightened around my waist.
"Well..." She paused, only digging against my impatience. "I can't do that right now, but you need to ditch your phone," the urgency in her voice made me feel nervous. But I knew exactly what this was about.
"You're tracking me," I snarl.
"Yes, I've placed a GPS system in your phone. But it's not for me, and you need to break your phone if you want to remain safe."
"And who is it for?"
"I can't tell you on a call, I promise to tell you in person..." She let out an almost inaudible sigh. "Please, do it quickly. If you need to contact anyone, just use Kai's phone."
"So you know exactly where I'm at right now?" I blurt, completely ignoring her previous statements.
"Well, I don't know. But they might!"
"Who are they?" I demand.
"It's-" Dongmei's sentence was cut off when I felt the phone being ripped from my grasp.
"Kai?" I question, turning towards him.
Without a word, he let the phone fall onto the ground. He proceeded to stomp on it multiple times, making certain that it will no longer function.
My jaw hung agape as he continued to destroy the device.
"Honey," I spoke, letting my hand rest on his shoulder. It was rising and falling quickly; the result from his heavy breathing.
Kai's brown eyes flickered up, but he avoided making eye contact.
"Look at me," my voice was just above a whisper.
He quickly obeyed.Kai gazed at me silently for a few moments before speaking again.
"You are no longer going to speak with Dongmei. I'm not trying to control you, but it is not safe for anyone." He stepped back, retrieving his own phone. His slender fingers danced across the screen before he put it to his ear.
Kai was speaking very quickly, and I almost couldn't understand him. But I knew he had called his father.
And it was just moments before we were face to face with the man.*
"I'm glad you came quickly," Kai said.
"It's my pleasure," his father replied. "Are you alright?"
"We're fine," Kai stated, glancing at me. "But I need the favor to be done now."
"No problem."
"Wait," I spoke before their heads turned towards me. "What favor? If you don't mind my asking..."
A bright smile spread across Mr. Kim's face.
"I think it is better if Jongin explains that to you. Go inside now, I'll start making the calls."Sighing as Kai pulled me along, I harshly rub my face. I had no idea that I would be in this kind of danger, and I never would have guessed it.

A few hours later, Kai's father had come back into the house we were all staying in. He said that he had contacted both the school and my parents. I don't know how he found my parents' information, but I assume the school gave it to him.
"Kai," I tug at his arm.
"Why, babe?"
"I need to talk to you."
He nods, leading me into a separate room. It was more private. In fact, none of the boys were in there."What is it?" His full attention was given to me.
"Please tell me what favor your dad has done for you."
"Ah," he says in realization, followed by a lighthearted chuckle. "He proposed an offer for you to be released from the dorms."
"Released? Where am I supposed to live?" I was starting to get angry, and he quickly took notice.
"Ari, you're going to have a host. You'll be living with another family in their home."
"But I didn't sign up for that. I signed up to live in the dorms. I don't think it can be changed."
"You must have forgotten that my father always gets what he wants," I watched the smirk grow on his face.
"So, which family will I be living with?" I inquire, crossing my arms with attitude.
"You ask so many questions," he observed.
Kai then pulled me into a kiss. His warm lips met mine, and I instantly forgot what we were even taking about. His hands slid down to grip my hips, pulling me into his broad body. Then my arms betrayed me, wrapping around his neck to get him even closer.
I felt him smiling into the kiss, which made my knees buckle.
"Hey!" a voice shouted to separate us.
"Stop doing couple things, it's time to eat." Chanyeol requests. "And I would like to keep my appetite."
The boys snickered at the remark, causing me to blush deeply. Kai beamed, stroking my rosy cheeks.
"We'll be there shortly," He replied, shooing them away. They poured out of the room until it was back to just Kai and me.
Even though we were possibly in danger of whoever is out to get us, it felt so right being in Kai's arms. He made me feel safe, even if there are risks. I don't know who is coming, or why they are, but I know that Kai will do anyone to protect the ones he loves. And I am beyond thankful to be classified as a person that is lucky enough to receive love from Kim Jongin.
"Me..."
"What?" I softly inquire, looking at Kai.
"You're going to live with me. I can't stand it anymore, Ari. I need you to be under the same roof as me." I could tell that he was getting flustered, thinking about the things that might happen if here's not there to protect me.
A deep feeling of passion warmed up my chest. The more time I spend with him, the more I realize that I need him as well.
"I love you," I whisper. His plump lips turned into a smile.
"I love you, too. We're going to be fine."
