Applejack's POV
I woke up to feel something poking my side. I looked over and saw Rainbow Dash was being prodded too. I looked up to see a small brown paw poking me. I turned over to see a little brown she-cat looking at me, concern filling her green eyes. The other cat was a she-cat too, but she had long, black fur with little clumps of leaves stuck in it.
The brown she-cat asked me something. "Are you okay?", she mewed in a worried tone.
I shook my head a bit and sat up. "Yea, I'm fine, thanks." I perked up a bit when I remembered I still had my southern accent.
The brown cat smiled. "That's good. But what about your friend over there?", she said, pointing to a blue gray tabby with her tail.
"Oh, she should be fine. She's normally a late sleeper,",I explained.
The she-cat nodded. I went to get her up. I noticed she was partially awake, one of her rainbow eyes was open.
"Come on Dash,"I whispered in her ear,"get up."
Rainbow Dash shook her head for a moment and sat up. She turned to look at her fur and started licking it. I looked at my dark and light golden pelt, and noticed there was dirt all over it. I lapped at my pelt with my tounge for a while, and looked up to see the two cats were gone. Then I looked around and noticed we were in some kind of camp. There were large dens near the walls of the stone hollow, some woven into a large tree. There was an entance made of vines near the back of the camp. I looked up and noticed there was a hole at the top of a large rock. I turned behind me to see a pile of what looked like animals. Dead ones. Then I remembered quickly that cats ate meat.
The two cats from before came padding up. The black cat carried some sort of leaves, and the brown cat was carrying two mice. The black cat gave us the leaves first.
"What are these?", Rainbow asked, narrowing her eyes.
"Herbs. They'll strengthen you up.", the black cat replied.
I bent my head and lapped up the leaves. They had a bitter taste to them, but I just shrugged and dealt with it. I've eaten worse. I looked over at Dash and tried so hard not to laugh. She licked up the leaves and had two expressions written on her face: surprise and disgust. The brown cat then gave us each a mouse. I dipped m head in thanks and ate it ijn a few swift bites. I buried the bones and licked my lips clean. My ears pricked when I heard pawsteps approaching us. I turned to see an old white cat with a brown stripe down his back, along with having a brown front paw. He had scars all over his pelt, and a few on his face. A good portion of one of his ears was bitten clean off, and to top all that, he had one amber eye, one blue.
He looked at us with narrowed eyes.
"Fawnleap, Yarrowpaw, who are these cats?", he growled in a raspy voice.
The brown cat, probably Fawnleap, was the first to answer. "They were here in the camp, Wolfstorm, we were just helping them."
Wolfstorm just snorted and walked up to the pile of animals. A few moments later, he came back, and looked at me with longing in his eyes. I cocked my head, but then just shrugged.
Yarrowpaw then looked at us. "We should probably take you to Falconstar. By the way, who are you?", she asked.
"I'm Applejack,"I replied.
"And I'm Rainbow Dash. Who's Falconstar?",my friend asked.
"Our leader. Now, come on."
As we walked to their leader, I heard a voice coming from a den. It was Wolfstorm, talking to some other cat.
