High School Sweethearts

Chapter 2

The girls squealed like the mouses you'd find in the basement.

Lisa gasped.

"He's beautiful! Isn't he, Jennie?" Rosé exclaimed.

Jennie sighed.

"Alright, I must admit, he's not bad."

He was more than "not bad". He had hair brown as dark chocolate, and compared to the other boys, his hair was actually neat.

His eyes were as brown as almonds and they had an innocent look, he had one monolid and one double eyelid.

You could compare his face to a cute tiger!

Mrs. Song ignored the reactions, the new student didn't seem too bothered about them either.

"Well, you may introduce yourself," mrs. Song told him.

He cleared his voice.

"Hello, everyone. It's a pleasure to meet you all, my name is Kim Taehyung and I hope we can all be good friends."

Jisoo sighed.

"Another Kim!"

Mrs. Song gave Taehyung a smile.

"Well, Taehyung. There's only available seat, you can sit next to Jennie Kim. Please raise your hand, Jennie, so Taehyung can come and sit next to you."

Jennie raised her hand.

As Taehyung came to sit next to Jennie, Lisa and Rosé exchanged looks with each other.

When Taehyung sat down, all the girls groaned out of jealousy.

Jennie only scoffed. No need for those girls to be so jealous, Taehyung didn't have a chance with her anyways.

Taehyung started speaking quietly to Jennie.

"Hey, Jennie. Nice to meet you."

She only nodded for answer and went back to working with maths.

Taehyung raised his eyebrows, but he didn't care too much about Jennie's first impression on him, he went on to listening to mrs. Song.

"Alright, class! You will continue with algebra on chapter 3. Luckily, I have an extra text- and workbook for you, Taehyung."

The teacher came up to the student's desk and handed him the material.

Everybody started working.

After 15 minutes had passed of the lesson, Taehyung spoke to Jennie once again.

"Hey, Jennie. Could I borrow your eraser?"

Jennie looked at him.

"Don't you have your own eraser?"

He shook his head.

Jennie sighed, but gave the eraser to him anyways. You had to be kind to new students, that's an unspoken rule.

Taehyung smiled.

"Thanks, Jennie."

"No problem."

The math lesson finally finished.

As Jennie was walking to her locker, Lisa ran up to her.

"Jen, why were you so rude to the poor guy today!"

Jennie only shook her head in disbelief.
