Chapter 20

Taehyung entered the library, he saw Rosé standing in front of one of the bookshelves, this was the first time he had seen her being alone, most of the times, she was either with Jisoo or Lisa.

Rosé turned around after having heard Taehyung's footsteps coming closer, she took a deep breath and zoned out for a bit.

"Rosé?" Taehyung was a bit worried, he had never seen her without a smile on her face.

"Oh, hi Taehyung," she said, now she forced a smile.

"Are you okay?" Taehyung asked.

"I'm okay, I just wanted to talk to you about Jennie," she answered.

"Is there anything wrong with Jennie?"

Fortunately, Rosé shook her head.

"No, thank God there isn't, but... he doesn't like the thought of you and Jennie... dating."

"Who?"

Rosé gulped, then looked up. Her eyes widened a bit and she let out a gasp, it was like she had seen a ghost through the empty hole in the bookshelf.

"I have to go, good luck with Jennie," she said and ran out of the library.

Taehyung was shocked, why was Rosé acting so weird? He hadn't expected that she could be so fuzzy, it was as if she was on drugs.

Now, he decided to look through the hole. What had Rosé seen that had frightened her so much?

When he looked through the hole, he knew who Rosé had meant by him.

There he was again, sitting with a smirk on his face, pretending to read a book. Looks like he'd never leave Taehyung at peace.

You're going to pay for this, Kai, Taehyung thought to himself and left the library.

He made his way to Jennie's locker again, this time he wasn't going to leave any sticky note.

When he saw her locker, he understood. Kai must've ripped the note off of the locker, it was definitely something Kai would do, just to make sure Jennie didn't get a new boyfriend.

Well, Kai, I'm not that stupid either, Taehyung thought to himself.

Jennie was probably still eating lunch, so he ran upstairs to the cafeteria.

"Here for lunch? Again?" The cook asked, jokingly.

Taehyung smiled, but didn't answer him.

Instead, he walked straight to Jennie's table. Rosé was there again, sitting next to Jisoo. When she saw Taehyung, she immediately went back to eating.

"Hey, Jen," Taehyung started.

Jennie raised an eyebrow.

"Hi, Taehyung. Are you hungry again?"

"Oh no, of course not. Just wanted to ask you a question," he answered.

"Go on," Jennie was smiling now.

"Are you free this weekend?"

Jennie nodded,

"Yes, I am!"

"Great, wanna go to an amusement park? I've got tickets for the two of us, since my brother works there I've also fixed free dinner for us."

Now, Jennie looked really excited.

"That sounds exciting!"

Taehyung exchanged a look with Rosé, the smile was back on her face now and it looked like she mimed 'good job'.

"Great, Jennie. See you this weekend."

"Wait, which day? Saturday or Sunday?"

"Hm, whatever feels best for you!"

"Oh, I think I prefer Saturday!"

Taehyung winked and nodded,

"Then it's chosen, Jen."

After that, he left the cafeteria to go look for Jungkook.

All the other girls at the table had stopped eating and were chewing nonstop on their food, but now that Taehyung left, they squealed.

Jennie quieted them down.

"Calm down, girls!"

Lisa swallowed, loudly, and smiled.

"Wow! Now you've fixed a date with Taehyung!"

Jisoo had forgotten her French toast and was only holding it, but when it fell to the plate, she woke up, back to Earth.

"Damn, Jendeuk, I'm proud of you for pulling such a nice guy," she said.

Jennie smiled,

"There are more guys in the world and I'm not self centered or a cold hearted bitch, I do feel love!"

Rosé had definitely gotten cheered up, at first, she had been worried for Jennie because of Kai.

"Well, but you will still love us the most!"

Jennie nodded,

"Of course, even if I love a guy, I will never love him more than I love my friends!"

Lisa sighed out of relief,

"I'm glad we have that picnic planned for the next weekend!"

"Well, now I have something to do for two weekends," Jennie said.

"So do we," Rosé said.

"Wait, what? You planned something... without me?" Jennie asked.

"It was spontaneous, Jen!" Rosé answered.

Lisa and Jisoo looked a bit confused as well, so Rosé sighed and made it clear,

"Girls, we are going to have a Q/A with Jennie the day after, ask how the date went, what they did, if they kissed, if they hugged, if they held hands! That will take hours! I will want to hear the details!"

Jennie laughed,

"Oh, yeah. Of course you will!"

Jisoo's beautiful face lit up with a smile,

"Hopefully you will be able to say 'I have a boyfriend' after your date with Taehyung," she said and winked.
