Chapter 5

                                               ( mother jennie is stunning !! )

Jennie and Taehyung were sitting together on the rooftop, just talking about life.

"Well, Jen. How's this school like?"

Jennie thought about it a little.

"It's alright."

"Just alright?" Taehyung looked at Jennie, a bit confused.

"There's a lot of pressure on the students here to be perfect, you might've not noticed, you're a new student."

Taehyung sighed.

"A lot of schools are like that."

"Yeah, but-"

"Jennie!" Someone shouted.

Taehyung stood up and turned around to see who had entered.

Jennie did the same.

It was just Jisoo.

She looked shocked at the sight of the two.

"Am I... interrupting something?"

Jennie shook her head and quickly made up a lie.

"No, just telling Taehyung about the tests we have."

Jisoo smiled.

Jennie felt her heart break into pieces, lying to Jisoo was the last thing she'd ever do.

"Well, I'll go, the girls are waiting for you in the library," Jisoo said before leaving the rooftop.

After she had left, Taehyung looked at Jennie.

"Why did you lie to her?"

Jennie shrugged.

Taehyung decided to not question it again.

"What's next?"

"Hm, after the break, we got biology."

Taehyung nodded.

"My best subject."

Jennie scoffed.

"Yeah, right. You're in 2nd place."

Taehyung raised one of his eyebrows.

"After who?"

"After me, Kim Taehyung."

He laughed.

"We'll see, Jennie Kim."

Now, Jennie laughed with him.

Suddenly, Taehyung stopped laughing.

"Um, can I ask you a question?"

Jennie nodded.

"Well, is Jennie your real name or just your English name?"

She scoffed.

"What do you mean 'English name'? Of course, it's my real name!"

"No, not to offend you. People born in Korea having English names surprises me!"

Jennie smiled.

"It confuses a lot of people, don't worry. My mom would name me Jungjae if I was a boy, but I'm a girl and she thought Jennie was similar to Jungjae."

Taehyung nodded.

"Anyways, Tae. Let's go to biology!"

After 10 minutes, all the students were sitting in the biology classroom.

Before Mr. Park started taking attendance, Jennie and Taehyung smirked at each other.

Rosé and Lisa saw this, they looked at each other and raised their eyebrows.

It only took Mr. Park a few minutes to take attendance.

"Okay, class! We're going to start working with nutrition, now tell me, what are the 3 energy giver nutritions?"

Jennie's hand stuck up in the air, before Taehyung could even blink.

"Yes, Jennie?"

Jennie cleared her voice and replied:

"The 3 energy givers are proteins, carbohydrates and fats."

"Very good, now can someone tell me, what do they get turned into once you've eaten them?"

Now, Taehyung raised his hand faster than Jennie.

"Yes, Taehyung?"

"Proteins get turned into amino acids, carbohydrates into glucose and fats into fatty acids."

"Very good!"

Taehyung stuck his tongue out at Jennie, when Mr. Park looked away, Jennie pretended to be disrespected and rolled her eyes.

After the questions, the class had been given a task.

"Okay, students. You will make a presentation about one of the five nutritions: proteins, fats, carbohydrates, vitamins and mineral. This will be graded based on the information, editing, sources and the words you use."

Taehyung patted Jennie on the shoulder.

"What is it?"

"Well, Jen. How about we see who gets the best grade?"

Jennie scoffed.

"You've lost."

"We'll see."

Jennie started immediately, the nutrition she chose was protein. Taehyung had also chosen protein, but they were not aware of having chosen the same nutrition.

The two were concentrating so hard on their work, that Jisoo suspected something going on.

Jisoo cleared her voice quietly.

"Psst, Lili!"

Lisa looked up from her computer.

"Unnie?"

Jisoo pointed at Jennie and Taehyung, Lisa saw and she nodded approvingly.

Lisa threw a paperball at Rosé.

Rosé side eyed Lisa, but Lisa ignored that and pointed at the two focusing students. Rosé understood.

"Awooga!" she whispered and applauded quietly.

Jennie and Taehyung, however, were not aware that they were being seen as a soon-to-become couple friendship.
