Chapter 16

Ms. Evans were giving back the science tests about the carbon cycle, in Jennie's opinion, it had been way too easy, and it was the fact they were in 10th grade, but having a test about something you'd have had covered in 8th grade!

Jennie was about to turn around and flex her 100% to Taehyung, but then she remembered, they didn't talk anymore.

Lisa almost choked on her bubble gum when she saw her results, she let out an exaggerated sigh and burst out,

"No way! Only 65%? But, carbon cycle was already covered in 8th grade! Why will this affect our grades so much?"

Jennie laughed.

"Lili, the tests' grades become your total grades, no matter what!"

Ms. Evans came up to Jennie, collecting the students' test papers, and smiled.

"Very wise words, Jen. Good job on the full marks."

Taehyung looked up, but his cold face expression didn't change. Ugh, Jennie's heart was shattering. How could such a sweet guy become so cold?

Even, Jungkook looked at the two students in confusion. These two had been so competetive and such great friends. How could a kiss ruin what they've had so badly?

Lisa ripped a piece of paper from a page in her notebook, scribbled something on it, folded it into a paper plane and threw it to Jungkook. To her surprise, it flew smoothly and landed perfectly on Jungkook's desk.

Jungkook unfolded the plane and read the note,

Hey Kookie ♡

Let's fix this love

between Taehyung and Jendeukie!

Love you,

your lover, Lili

The note left a smile on Jungkook's face, Lisa was such an adorable girlfriend, he really had been blessed by God, universe or whatever it was that had provided him with a loving girl.

Jungkook decided to also rip a piece of paper from his notebook, but he wasn't going to give it to Lisa, he had a great idea. He winked at Lisa, making her giggle and decided to write something on the piece of paper.

Meet me at the rooftop after science. There's a surprise waiting for you...

Jungkook thought a bit more. He ripped another piece of paper, Lisa was looking at him, she looked really curious. 

On this piece, he wrote,

Oh my god, Jen! Meet me at the rooftop after science, I got to tell you something!! Hihi!! 

- Your BESTEST friend, Lalisa!!!!! 

This shall be convincing, Jungkook thought to himself.

The first note, he gave to Taehyung. He curiously looked at Jungkook, but smiled and shook his head jokingly after having read the note.

Now, for the second note. He gave it to Lisa, after having made sure nobody else were looking.

"Send this to Jennie for me, will you?" he told her.

Lisa only obeyed his order and gave it to Jennie. She read the note and smiled at Lisa, looking very curious too.

Jungkook sat back in his chair, feeling very calm. He was the smartest guy in this class, no doubt.

In his friend group, they'd do anything for each other, he'd be the one to create the best couples in South Korean high schools.
