CROW (ITACHI X READER)

Chapter 9:

Y/N

"Ms. Y/N!" I looked up from my desk seeing Izuna running up to me with a big smile. This kid can literally turn my whole mood around.

"Zuzu!" I turned my chair and he jumped into my arms, I laughed and squeezed him tight.

"Good morning." He sounded muffled and I tickled him, pulling about another laugh out of him.

"Good morning! Are you ready to learn this morning?"

He nodded and got comfortable on my lap, it was early in the morning that there weren't any kids in my class. A throat clearing made my look up, the smile I was wearing slipped a little.

"Good morning, angel." Itachi said.

"Morning." I responded quietly before turning to Izuna and striking up a conversation, I didn't want him knowing that I was jealous and upset because if I was being honest. I had no right to be since this was before I came into his life.

Which is why I practically word vomited me needing to get laid to Alexis, i've had feelings for Itachi majority of my life. I need something to help get these feelings out of my system. He'd never feel the same.

I hoped he would have left but of course God is not on my side because he stood there burning a hole into the side of my face.

I almost groaned when more kids trickled in, Izuna squirmed and I placed him on the ground, watching my security blanket go and play.

"Angel." Itachi said while I watched Izuna, and my  thoughts solidified in my head. He had a whole child and relationship with a woman, one that obviously had to have meant something. It was also the life I dreamed of with him,  it was a bitter pill to swallow.

"Angel." He had moved in front of me and squatted down so we were eye level. I shook my head and gave him a small smile.

"Sorry, i'm a million miles away this morning."

His eyes roamed my face before he lips curved down in a frown. "Are you okay?"

"I'm fine." I waved him off, the same small smile on my face.

I sucked in a breath when his fingers gripped my chin, his brows furrowed. "Don't lie to me, angel. What's wrong?"

"Nothings wrong, Itachi." I said but with the way he looked at me, it didn't only feel like he knew I was lying but was digging around in my soul. Finding every secret, every little thing about me with ease.

"We'll work on that."

His response made me confused. "Work on what?"

"Lying to me."

"I'm not-"

"You are." He shook his head. "I understand why, it's been a long time but I want you to know something."

"What's that?"

"I'm never losing you again, I will do anything and everything to make sure you believe it."

At first your body filled with warmth but your thoughts were much more negative, it didn't take much for that warmth to be extinguished.
