Y/N

"The fucking nerve of him." I grumbled under my breath, my stride not breaking while I left this Godforsaken place.

I heard footsteps behind me but could tell by the sound it wasn't Itachi. Creepy.. I know the sound of his footsteps.

"Is it true?" I asked Obito, sparing him a fleeting glance.

"Dunno. I'll find out."

I wanted to make a snide remark or something witty but as soon as I was outside, the flurry of activity overwhelmed me. My eyes snagged on Zu in the back of an ambulance and I started making my way there.

"Let me know what you- fuck." My sentence ended on a mumble and the world tilted. My hearing muffled and black encroached my vision, I could practically feel my body shutting down and my panic rose.

I heard someone yell my name before my legs gave out, I could feel arms wrap around me before everything went blissfully quiet.

The annoying sound of a constant beep rang in my ears and a killer headache was making its way around my head in rapid succession.

"Fuck." I groaned, I tried to lift my hand and a whimpered escaped without my approval. My eyes felt like they were sewn shut and every millimeter I opened them felt like I was peeling the skin off.

"Go slow." A voice whispered and my heart beat rose, the beeping rising with it. I hated that my first reaction is panic because it was such a loathsome emotion.

I knew I was no longer chained because contrary to what some believe, not everyone forgets trauma they endured. It seems like my mind thought I was strong enough to handle it.

So firstly, fuck you, brain. Secondly, fuck you, body for not healing like a Goddamn superhuman.

A whimper escaped my lips and I gritted my jaw hard enough, I thought i'd crack a tooth. "Angel?" A voice whispered and a flurry of emotions hit me at once.

The beep from the monitor quickened at the same time as my breath and Itachi cursed quietly. "Please, angel. You need to calm down." He kept his voice low but couldn't keep his emotion out of it.

I refused to open my eyes and willed myself to calm down but I couldn't. The events of the last few days decided right now was the best time to hit me.

I jumped and another whimper crawled up my throat when a door banged against the wall. "Sir-"

"I'm not fucking leaving." Itachi growled.

"You need to. Her heartbeat should not be this high, her body needs to recover, she needs to be calm and relaxed to do that."

"Please don't make me go.."

"I'm sorry."

I felt him squeeze my hand before his warmth left me and although the room felt significantly colder since his departure; I felt like I could finally breathe.

"Please rest, y/n."

My mind calmed and I drifted back to sleep, I didn't know how much time had passed but I assumed it was a while. I could finally open my eyes without wanted to vomit and the aches subsided.
