CROW (ITACHI X READER)

Chapter Thirteen:

Itachi

"Itachi, you fucking bastard!" She screamed and I smiled at her.

She was a fucking vision. Covered in blood, manic look in her eyes and a gun held tightly in her hand. But what made her look like a my vision? Our son behind her while she stood like an impenetrable wall to protect him.

My mama bear, my woman, my fucking wife. Protecting our son even from me.

"Y/N.." I whispered and her eyes narrowed.

The noise of everyone ceased to exist, the gunfire, the yelling, the bodies running- everything- was just gone. All that remained was her, me and Zu.

I couldn't keep my eyes off her, even when she stomped angrily towards me and slapped me across the face.

"You have a lot of fucking nerve to show up here now! You think just bec- Mmmph."

I smashed my lips against hers, cutting off the sentence she was spewing at me. Her lips parted in surprise and I took advantage, thrusting my tongue into her mouth.

I swallowed the sound she made before rearing back in surprise. The taste of copper filled my mouth and I smiled. She fucking bit me. A click sounded a second after and my smile widened.

"Cocky piece of shit." She sneered, holding one of the guns in her hand against the side of my head and I chuckled.

"You look beautiful covered in blood, angel." I cooed.

"How does it feel to have a gun pressed against your head?"

"Euphoric. If you decide my time on this Earth is finished then it's finished."

She scoffed and pressed the barrel harder against me. "That easy, huh? You'd just let me?"

"That easy. I may call you angel but you are my God, what you decide goes. Always has been."

Her eyes narrowed in suspicion and I didn't blame her, the last time we spoke was much different than this but if she looked deeper.  Looked back to all our interactions, she'd see that I was right.

"Daddy?"

The small sound brought me to my knees and I held open my arms. "Zu.." I whispered and he collapsed into my arms. I buried my nose in his hair and inhaled deeply. "God, I missed you. I'm so glad you're safe."

"Mama protected me." He cried and held onto me tighter, I looked up at Y/N and tensed when she was no longer there.

"Fuck." I cursed lowly and stood with Zu in my arms, I took a step into a direction i'd thought she'd gone then a hand on my shoulder stopped me.

"Take him away first." Obito said and I opened my mouth but he shook his head. "I'll find her. Take him." He nodded and I hesitated for a moment before realizing that he was right.

Walking with my son into gunfire was the dumbest fucking thing I could have done. I ran in the opposite direction and up the stairs to where the remains of the house was standing.

I went straight to an ambulance and after a few minutes of convincing Zu to stay put, I was able to go searching for my woman.

I swear it was the longest few minutes of my life and I my panic was rising the longer it took for me to find her.
