North..? What was north.. and where north? The place north of the koopa kingdom was.. the area with all the snow.. he never bothered to look it up.. other than that, it was all water.. Luigi hoped no one was out there..
So when the sun came in early that morning, he got up and found Kamek.
"Ah! Luigi! Did you need something?"
"Uh.. oh.. yeah, ummm... the place north of here.."
"The land north, you mean?"
"Yeah! Uh.. do you think you could get me there?"
"Has this to do with the kids?"
"Oh.. uh, I believe so.."
"I'll tell King Bowse-"
"No! No? Uh, no. It's something I'd rather him not be there for..."
"Is something wrong?"
"No! No, no.. just this is something for the detective to do alone."
He didn't know why he felt Bowser shouldn't be with him.. but he shouldn't.. oh god...What if the kid is dead? No, don't think like that.
"I'll get the ships ready, okay? Meet me on the pad.. and are you sure you're okay, Mr. mario?"
"My brothers, Mr. mario.."
He laughs softly, trying to get Kamek off his back, it seemed to work..
"Ahh..... I'll get that ready then.."
He smiled, and Kamek scurried off, leaving luigi alone. He walked to the pad. He was almost there before.
"HEY! GREEN GUY!?"
"Roy, don't yell! You're a prince, and you should be responsible and respectful!"
"Like you princess!?"
"Yes!"
The tall, brown headed man turned to see roy and Wendy arguing.
"Oh.. hello, you two.. is there something you need?"
"Yeah! We can't find dad!"
"Roy! Stop yelling. "
"I'm not!"
Luigi giggled at the two and smiled.
"At this time.. he's been looking after your vegetable garden Wendy, he didn't want it to get ruined, so.. I'd say he'd be there.."
"Okay!"
Roy walked off.
"Roooyyyy! Ugh! I'm so sorry about him and his lack of manners.. thank you, Mr. mario!"
Wendy bowed softly and walked off before luigi could finish his sentence.
"Luigis.. uh, okay then.."
Luigi smiled to himself and continued to the pad, where the boat planes were waiting for him. He got on and started north.
To say he was scared was an understament. He could think of all the possibilities. Why would he feel he shouldn't bring Bowser? If it's one of them, are they hurt? Or worse! He shook his head. As they landed, he could one think of one thing, why was one of the kids here?
Luigi stepped off the plane boat and looked around. There was no one for miles. He furrowed his brow..
"Excuse me, sir."
Luigi turned and looked around for the voice.
"Ehm.. down here."
Luigi looked down to see a... penguin?he looked up at him, with a spear in his hand.
"What are you doing here?"
"Uh..oh..uh.. I am here looking for a child.. a little boy, he's a-"
"Koopa?"
"Yes!"
"Someone picked him up already. He was trying to sign something to us, but.. we couldn't understand."
"Someone picked him up already??"
"Yes, he went towards the mu -"
"Mushroom kingdom!"
"Ye-"
He jumped back on the boat plane and yelped out to the driver to head that way, as they took of luigi, he stuck his head over the side, looking for any of the kids... until in the white, he spotted a dark hooded figure dragging along a child. He made the driver stop and pull up in front of them.
