ONCE VINCENT WALKED IN, HE IMMEDIATELY NOTICED THEIR TENSE BODY LANGUAGE. Despite them trying to act natural, they knew that there wasn't too much that would get past him.
"Hey, are you guys okay?"
Victoria looked up from her phone and nodded.
"Yeah. Ari ate all of my food, and Anthony had to yell at her."
Ari looked up from her dog bed and tilted her head to the side. Victoria bit back a chuckle at her confused state as Anthony sighed a breath of relief when Vincent laughed and shook his head.
"Crazy girl. Speaking of crazy!" He explained as he sat down on the couch, placing himself between them. "That girl from last night was completely off her rocker."
As he told his story, the guilt Anthony had began to set in more. What on earth was he thinking? Sleeping with his best friends little sister? Not even once, but twice? There was no way he could let whatever was going on between them continue. How could he? If Vincent ever found out, he would be absolutely furious.
He decided then, he was done with Victoria in that way. He couldn't continue, because of who she's related to.
No matter how bad, he couldn't have her.
"-and then she threw the fork at me because I wouldn't let her put a tracker on my phone. Like come on. It's only the first date!" He finished, earning a hysterical laugh from Victoria. "By the time I made it back here, both of you were knocked out."
"Yeah, I was so exhausted. I feel much better now."
Despite saying she felt better, that didn't stop Vincent from putting his hand on the back of her forehead.
"I'm not sick, Vin!" She laughed as she pushed his hand away. "I'm gonna head to my room and do some more reading, okay?"
They both nodded as she got up and walked over to her room. After letting out a stretch and a yawn, she laid down on the bed and grabbed her book, letting herself get lost in the pages.
However, after ten minutes, she was already beginning to lose focus. She threw the book to the side in frustration and sighed.
"What the fuck is wrong with me?" She muttered to herself. She never allowed herself to get so strung up and distracted over a guy.
She also couldn't help but smile to herself, rethinking of themselves in the shower, and for saying they'd allow this to continue. Victoria knew that eventually, they'd have to decide if they would take it further or not. If that was the case, they'd have to talk to Vincent.
Would it even get to that point, though? What she was doing was wrong... so wrong. She knew how wrong it was, but at the same time it felt so right.
She felt her eyelids get heavy. Despite trying to fight it off, the skeep took over.

"Hey," a whisper woke her from a deep sleep, startling her until she noticed it was Anthony.
"Hey," she responded groggily and rubbed her eyes, now noticing it was dark. "What time is it?"
"Two in the morning. Vincent thinks your sick, so he didn't want to wake you. He's asleep now."
"Oh," she trailed off.
"Can we talk? We kind of got interrupted," he asked.
"Yeah, of course," Victoria nodded and patted the spot on her bed, allowing him to sit down. After taking a deep breath, he sighed and grabbed a hand.
"Victoria, you're amazing. Like, the most amazing person I've ever been with. But you're Vincent's little sister. This- this can't go on anymore. I'm sorry, but we need to go back to how things used to be."
She felt as if someone quite literally ripped her heart out. That someone, being him. However, she'd never let him see that.
She gently removed her hand from his, put on a fake smile and nodded.
"I understand completely."
Anthony raised an eyebrow in surprise.
"You understand?"
"Yeah, for sure. Totally get it," she played it off, doing everything in her power to not let the tears slip from her eyes. "Vincent would get so mad if he found out, probably."
All he did was nod, and then stood up.
"Yeah, probably. I'll let you get some more sleep. Goodnight, Vic," he smiled at her before walking out the door, gently shutting it behind him.
And that was when she finally let the sob she was holding back come out.
