"Are you ready?"
It was later in the evening, and Victoria was now wearing a pair of high waisted denim shorts with a black crop top. She was currently curling her hair, having already done her make up.
"Give me like, five more minutes. I'm almost done," she told Vincent, who groaned in response. She gave him a look of annoyance and threw a tube of mascara at him, considering that was the closest thing she could reach. Besides her curling want, but she wasn't that evil.
"It takes time to look pretty," she said in defense. "Sorry I can't just throw on clothes and ruffle my hair a bit and look perfect!"
"You think I'm perfect?" He said smugly, making it her turn to groan in annoyance.
"Sure, Vin. Definitely."
Not sensing her sarcasm, he patted her door before turning to leave her doorway.
"Five more minutes, no more than that or we're leaving your ass home!"
"No you won't!" She shouted back, knowing that he wouldn't dream of doing such a thing. When she got no response, she smirked and continued to do her hair. She purposefully took six minutes instead of five, just to be a little petty.
When she came out to meet the guys, Anthony had to literally fight with his brain to prevent his jaw from dropping at the sight of her. She was just so beautiful, he thought.
"You look nice," was all he could say, trying to maintain his innocence around Vincent. They previously decided that they would go on a few dates before telling him about their relationship, minus the sex.
They wanted to be honest, but he didn't need to know every detail.
"You look good too," she responded. What she wanted to tell him, was that she wanted to rip his jeans and white v-neck right off his body and attack him right then and there. But her brother probably wouldn't really appreciate that.
"Not to brag, but she said I'm perfect."
"I'm never going to live this down," she grumbled. "Okay, let's go. I need cotton candy."
"You didn't have dinner yet," Vincent reminded her, earning an eye roll.
"Okay, dad. Then, I need a burger. Let's go."

When the arrived at the fair, she immediately ran off to the nearest food truck and scarfed down a burger like it was going to disappear if she didn't eat it immediately. After multiple rides, and many different types of sweets later, the guys were ready to take a psychotic-hyper Victoria home.
"Come on, Vic. It's time to go home."
"Nooo," she whined like a child, but let Vincent grab ahold of her arm nonetheless. When they began walking, she wasn't paying attention and bumped into somebody.
"Oh, I am so sorry!" She exclaimed, but when she looked up, she saw it was Jesse. She immediately scowled and attempted to just leave, but he grabbed her arm roughly.
"Look-"
"Who are you, and why are you touching my sister?" Vincent asked angrily, not liking the tight grip Jesse had on Victoria's arm.
"Because your sister is a tease," he slurred out. "She goes on a date with me and doesn't even put out, and has this bozo come save her!" He shouted, now gesturing towards Anthony.
Vincent, who typically is not a violent person, punched Jesse square in the nose. He didn't even stop to see the response, he just walked off with Victoria at his side. Once they stopped, he ran a hand through his hair and sighed.
"You suck at picking men," Vincent grumbled out. "Where'd you even find him?"
"Tinder."
"Gross. Absolutely gross."
"To make it better, he's the one who got me trash drunk. He tried to pull a move, and got mad when I told him I wanted to go home. He cornered me and just- If it wasn't for Anthony," she looked over at him thankfully, "things would have turned out very different."
"Thank you," Vincent told him thankfully. Anthony nodded and shrugged.
"It's no trouble at all. If anything happened to her, we'd both be in jail."
"Anyways," she dragged out. "Let's go home!"
As they continued their walk, Vincent's suspicions grew of the newfound closeness Victoria and Anthony had. However, if something was happening between, he'd wait and let them come to him when they were ready.
Despite what they think, he'd be very, very happy and supportive of them.

Ooooh, drama llama 🦙 . Of course we'd see Jesse again. What kind of idiot brought him back? I should have a word with them. Believe it or not, he's not even going to be the worst character in this series. Ooops?
Also, I cannot believe that we are already at the halfway point of this book. I absolutely hate dragging books out. I love reading long books.. but I hate writing them ever since my Elijah Mikaelson fan fiction. That took forever.
I am so thankful and appreciate all of you lovely readers so much. I'm so excited for what's to come for the upcoming chapters. See you Monday! ❤️
