VICTORIA WAS CURRENTLY WAITING AT THE MEETING SPOT. Checking her phone, she noted that he was now fifteen minutes late.

"Stupid, stupid, stupid," she muttered to herself. This is why she hardly ever went on dates. Her standards were high, and she refused to lower them. If they wanted her, they needed to meet them or try to do better. And lateness was not her favorite thing. However, this was the first time so she was willing to hear him out as long as he was here within the next five minutes.

Like she said, high standards.

Right on the four minute mark, the man she recognized as Jesse was practically running in her direction. By the time he reached her, he was completely out of breath.

"I am so sorry that I am late," he managed to say between breaths. "My mom needed me to do something before I left and it made me run later than what I'd like."

"It's okay! At least you showed."

"The party is over there," he told her as he nodded his head in the direction it was. "I also have friends to introduce you to."

She let her excitement cloud her nerves of meeting new people. It was going to have to happen at some point, might as be now.

"Sounds good. Shall we?" She asked.

He nodded again, and began to walk. She refrained from rolling her eyes since he didn't bother to wait for her, but she followed nonetheless. As much as she wanted to go home, her pride got in the way. How could she go now and show Anthony that he was right?

Finally, she caught up to Jesse, who barely seemed to noticed she was lagging behind. As he went on about himself, she was quickly catching onto the fact that all he did was talk about himself and hardly let her get a word out.

"-and I make a lot of money investing into stocks so I don't even need a job right now. I don't want to work under someone else, you know what I mean? My mom is always hounding me to go to college or get a job, but she just doesn't get it."

Jesus, she thought. There definitely wouldn't be a second date, she has already decided. However, she wanted to be out of the house, so she'd go to this party and try to have a good time.

Once they made it to the beach, she could hear the party in full swing. An unfamiliar sound, as she was never one to go out when she was in high school. She always preferred to stay home and read a book. Funny how being incredibly pissed off at someone made someone change their viewpoints.

It wasn't too far of a walk over to the crowd, and Jesse wasted no time to put a beer in her hand. She looked at it apprehensively, as she never even drank before. She would rarely drink soda, let alone alcohol. He didn't seem to notice her hesitation, so she just shook the thought off and opened the can, quickly chugging the entire thing in one go.

The taste nearly made her gag, and the carbon completely threw her off. How on earth did people drink this stuff for fun?

"Want to dance?" He asked. She shrugged as he handed her another beer, and let him pull her to where others were dancing.

After a few more, she felt the alcohol take over her system. She was no longer in control of her own body, and just allowed herself to have fun. It was short lived, as he began to grind himself on her and make her feel sick to her stomach.

"You know, I'm really not feeling all that good," she started, hoping he would walk her home. However, he just groaned and turned to her in annoyance.

"So what? You're going to bail? You aren't even going to put out?"

"No, I will not be putting out," she told him, putting air quotations around putting out. However, he gave her a dirty look and roughly grabbed her arm to pull her aside, away from everybody else.

"That's the problem with whores like you. You tease, and then leave us good guys with blue balls. The least you could do is let me take you to my house and blow me."

"Let me go," she demanded, trying to show she wasn't scared. But she was indeed terrified, and wished more than anything someone would intervene. The alcohol in her system also didn't help, as her mind was clouded and she felt as if she couldn't feel her body.

Instead of being the ever so gentleman he claimed to be, he placed his hand on her ass and gave it a squeeze. Before she could react, he was pulled away of her and thrown onto the ground.

"Touch her again, you'll never take another breath. Consider this you're only warning," she heard a familiar voice say. She didn't see Jesse's reaction, as was promptly yanked away and being led in the opposite direction. Once they were more private, Anthony began to look her over.

"Are you okay? Are you hurt anywhere?"

"I'm fine," she mumbled quietly. "Just a little shook up. I should have just listened to you."

"Don't blame yourself, Victoria. It's not your fault he was raised to be a shitty person. Do you want to go home?"

With a nod, he smiled and held out his hand. She accepted, and they walked home hand in hand in a peaceful silence.
