・゜゜・.A MONTH LATER .・゜゜・
Spencer and Clara hurried out of the restaurant they had previously been eating in, after receiving a rather dire phone call from JJ with details of a case. They didn't tend to go out to eat very often, as neither really enjoyed the busy atmosphere. But after finding out that they were together, Clara's Ma offered to pay for them to have a nice meal where they could dress up. So they chose the quietest restaurant, one with semi private tables in the back, and honestly both really enjoyed the entire experience. She liked dressing up and getting to wear one of the few fancy dresses that she had, since it really did not happen very often due to their schedules and how sporadic they were. Luckily this phone call had come just as they were about to leave anyway, so the meal wasn't ruined.
They, given that they had both had a few drinks with dinner, caught a cab after ordering coffee from one of Clara's favourite small kiosks. The cab dropped them off a short walk away from the BAU as she thought the walk and the night air might help somewhat with the lingering intoxication, he gave multiple reasons as to why that was a myth but went along with it anyway. "I don't have a change of clothes, my bags at my desk," she suddenly realised as they turned the corner of one of the streets, the FBI building coming into view.
He frowned, not understanding why she appeared to be so concerned, "Why would you need a change of clothes?"
"Because I'm in a fancy dress and they're going to notice," she explained softly, trying not to feel the goosebumps forming over her arms as a sudden breeze chilled down to her bones.
He shrugged casually and dropped her hand to offer her his jacket, "Then they notice. "
He draped the jacket over her shoulders, enveloping her entire body with the warmth that still lingered within the clothing. She raised a brow, finding his causal nature around the entire situation rather surprising, "Are you sure about that?"
He stopped in place and she did too, wanting to have the conversion face to face instead of walking alongside each other. She gently pulled the jacket on her shoulders forward, covering more of her front with it as he responded, "I am if you are."
She smiled brightly, having thought about bringing up this very discussion for a few days now. They were deep enough into their relationship that dealing with the snooty remarks would be much easier than earlier on, they were completely comfortable with each other. Not caring that anyone was looking anymore, she hugged him tightly as the surge of emotions within her body reached a point where she didn't know what else to do. They both chuckled softly and he placed a smiling kiss to her hair, hand finding hers the instant the hug ceased. For the first time ever, they approached the BAU hand in hand.

Clara held her head high as she walked into the circle table room, not bringing any sort of attention to herself that would be unusual. If she looked too sheepish, that would instantly be caught and multiple questions would ensue. She was still unsure as to whether they would pick up on her dress and all the other hints. However the second she walked in the door, the only person in the room already looked up and exclaimed jokingly, "Woah ho Davia! Dressing up just to see me?"
"In your dreams Mr Muscles," she laughed softly and sat down in her usual place at the table.
"Did you have a date or something?" he asked, watching her expression closely.
"Or something," she shrugged, keeping her cool despite the fact that nerves bit at every word.
"Mysterious girl," he chuckled as he lent on the table in front of him with his forearms, using the typical method he usually used in interrogations to make the criminal give over information quicker. But Clara was too smart to fall for that.
"Hey, save your flirting for Garcia!"
His hands went up defensively as he laughed, secretly wondering if he could find out any more information from Garcia. He didn't like how secretive she was, he grew increasingly suspicious as both JJ and Prentiss walked into the office and complimented her dress and started talking about how she got it in a sale and it also had pockets. Clara laughed at a comment Emily made just as Spencer walked into the room and Derek immediately noticed his appearance. "Pretty Ricky dressed up too? Interesting," he insinuated, gaze flickering between the both of them rapidly.
"It's a shirt and tie, it's normal for work," Spencer responded, acting as if he had no idea what he was talking about.
He raised a brow, "Not at ten at night and definitely not when the shirt and tie is missing a suit jacket which coincidentally matches the one around Clara's shoulders, who's dressed up too..."
"Oh my God," JJ half muttered, the sound of her realisation setting off a similar reaction with Emily.
"You were on a date," Prentiss grinned, sitting back in her chair whilst she looked between the two. Prentiss.
"And that's why you were so against flirting with that girl behind the bar to get information on Monday," Derek chuckled, acting as if the idea of him not wanting to flirt with anyone was completely out of pocket.
Clara turned to Spencer with a cocked brow, at the sudden news, he hadn't told her that specific thing about the case.
"You were so on a date!" Prentiss repeated, this time louder than before, as Garcia entered the room with her arm full of the various casefiles and ipads. "Garcia, did you know about this?"
Garcia, attempting to keep her cool despite the fact she had heard everything, frowned in fake perplexion, "Know about what?"
"Davia and Reid."
"What about them?" Garcia asked, clearly struggling to keep the information within her own mind and not just come out with it all at an instant.
"It's okay Pen," Clara whispered to reassure her, warning to give her best friend the permission to give all the information without breaking her earlier promise.
"Yes I knew," she grinned, joy practically bursting from her. "But I wanted to tell you all so bad!"
Morgan sat back in his chair and chuckled whilst looking at Spencer, now noticing how his gaze had not left Clara for the entire conversation. It did however nervously flicker up to Rossi and Hotch as they both entered the room, instantly noticing the atmosphere within it. "What's going on?" Rossi asked abruptly, looking to Clara for the more reliable answer.
"Clara and Spencer are dating," JJ revealed and Rossi's smile instantly fell.
He looked to Clara for clarification, which she finally gave with a nod. Rossi proceeded to turn to Spencer, eyes squinted and brow furrowed as he pointed at him. "I'm watching you," he spoke menacingly, eyes full of hatred. Clara chuckled softly but Spencer swallowed deeply, genuinely momentarily fearing for his life.
Hotch sighed softly and broke all conversations at an instant, "Let's all stop acting like school children and get to work."
