Sarah Jay Palmer
Saturday is supposed to be my rest day but since I have to spend it with Chase, it'll be a disaster. I can't even believe he already brought me to a drinking pub and a gun store! A beep on my phone caught my early morning rant. The worst case scenario may be forcing me to get drunk or shoot anyone, or even myself!
Gonna be there in thirty minutes. C
How did he even got my number? I swear this boy is really creepy. When I finished shower and changing my clothes, I went down the kitchen for some food but my nanny was already there.
"Dear, what do you want for breakfast?" Her slow and sweet voice just wanted me to snuggle beside her. "I'll just have orange juice and pancakes." I hugged her and combed my hair as I waited for Chase.
I was mid-eating when the doorbell rang and my nanny opened it. "Oh boy. It's a boy." It seemed like she sounds surprised and I peeked at the door only seeing Chase's fresh from the shower look.

"Are you Sara's boyfriend?" Nanny asked Chase as he took a bite from his pancake which she had offered. I felt like a part of lungs collapsed and once again, I just choked myself.
"Nan, n-" I cough like I'm expelling my lungs out.
"Yes." I heard Chase answer. All the blood in my body ran to my face as I felt it redden.
"Oh my." Nan seemed to have paled but immediately smiled at the thought of me having a boyfriend. My family thought I'd be a nun sometime soon since I'd never had any physical and literal contact with a boy before this task. Chase smirked annoyingly while I try to recover from my near-death choking marathon.
Nanny excused herself for groceries leaving me with a smirking devil.
"So what's the plan today?" I asked him as I fix the dishes and bring them to the sink. Surprisingly, he followed me and helped me clear the plates.
"I have work today. But can we talk after?" The accidental contacts his hand had on mine sent an unfamiliar buzz.
"U-uhm. Yea sure." My heart is pounding for unknown reason. Don't tell me I already have high blood pressure!
After doing the dishes, I went to my room and he followed. The silence between us is so comforting that I want to stay like this as long as I can. I sat on my bed as my eyes follow his hand trailing the stacks of books in the shelf. He seemed to study them like a scientist study his experiment. At this moment, it's like I am seeing another part of Chase.
He sat down beside me and whispered. "I have to go." Like it's the hardest thing he had ever done. I just smiled back at him.
