*A/N: First of all, I am so sorry for the late update. Second, it's our semestral break so I have the time to finish this, hopefully. And please comment what you think so I can improve. Thank you <3

Nanny didn't even notice my absence. Chase and I returned home Saturday afternoon. I offered him a meal but he refused to even go in my house. Everything is more than a blur now. I like Mason, but I like Chase too. Mason is perfect for me and he's the type of guy that I would introduce to my parents, and Chase is a delinquent who's about to become a mafia boss sooner than later. But... but Chase kissed me.
Make up your mind already!
Mason may not even feel the same way about me, either does Chase. Why am I assuming that those boys would even like me? I look like a fucking wall with a face. The worst case scenario is both of them are playing a prank on me. Oh I just have to kill them both then.
I was waiting for a single sign from Chase all afternoon but nothing came. So I assumed he was busy with his 'thing' and that it's a clear sign that I have to relax from this stressful week.

Mason was leaning on my locker Tuesday morning.
"Mason. What brings you here?" Yesterday was the same as any other day that I had observed him. But today, I feel like something's about to happen. I can't pinpoint if it's good or bad though. What's the worst case scenario? He would salvage me and sell my body parts on eBay? He's not like Chase. Chase. I haven't seen that boy in two days.
"So would you?" crap I was so preoccupied. "I'm sorry what did you say?"
"I said, my mom is going to bake something and she wants me to invite you. So you want to come?" Mason totally looked like a child asking for Santa's presents. I could totally pinch those cheeks of him right now.
"Yea sure." I gave him a smile and his eye lit up like fireworks. "Cool. Pick you up later after class."

I sighed deeper than I would before a game. This is the second time I would bring a girl in our house. And she's not just any other girl. She's Sara and it's pretty much self-explanatory.
"Darling! You came! Oh my I am so happy! You know what? Mason here can't stop talking about you. He kept say-" Mothers. They can really put you into a shit load of embarrassment.
"Mom stop it." I can't help but blush. My mom just basically confessed that I'm crazy over Sara. Not that I don't want her to know, but I don't want to creep her out.
"Oh hush darling! That tongue of yours won't get you anywhere. Now where was I? Oh yeah, my boy here kept on telling me how pretty you are and how he loved your smile and all of that crappy sappy things boys say when they like you." I want to kill myself now literally. I just face palmed myself many times that my nose would crook anytime. I glanced at Sara and she's trying to give a polite smile to my mother but I can see how embarrassed she is already.
"I'll just show her around." I grabbed Sara's hand and took her upstairs.
"Good luck with that school paper thing! And use protection!" I almost tripped with what my mother just said. I seriously need to brain wash her now. I think I got a little sister instead of a mother. Oh god why.
I immediately closed the door behind us. "Sorry about that." I scratched my neck and pushed a shy smile.
"I'd get used to it." her smile seemed so reassuring that I wanted to believe something's gonna happen with us in the future. My insides got giddy on the thought of that.
Sara stood up and walked to my table which had a picture of a younger me. "You're so cute here Mason." A tint of red painted her cheeks.
"So aren't I now? Or am I gorgeous?" I tried to lighten the atmosphere. I walked behind her and took a glance at that picture taken ten years ago. "Cocky are we?" she spun around but only to be tripped by my foot which made the both of us land into the floor with a thud.
"Sh- I'm sorry Mas-" and the door flung open. "Kids dinner's ready-... Oh my! I am so sorry. Did you use protection Mason? I don't want to be a grandma this soon. You know? Haven't had any botox yet." This is the moment I wished the world would open in half and eat me.
"We'll be there." And she took off while I helped Sara up. "I should really start apologizing right?" I leaned a little closer to examine her if she has any bumps from the fall.
"It's really okay Mason." She laughed and a little later I followed her. Then we decided to downstairs to face my weirdly loveable mother.
"How's the school paper going?" Mom air quoted. Sara blushed and started coughing. I laughed as I realized she's choking again. My mom patted her back and gave her water. As she regained herself, she looked at me with amusement.
"What's with your food Mason? Why do I always get choked?" and the three of us laughed hysterically.
