Mason's acting really weird for the last two days. He keeps on looking away when I ask him, he bows his head when I laugh, and he fidgets with his fingers when I'm talking. Am I boring him? Like that would concern me right? I am just a mere interviewer, that's all.
I looked up and saw Mason heading to the soccer field with his mates. This has been my habit since Monday and I kinda like doing it. But tomorrow, I have Chase who is really not sharing anything.
"Mason, your girl's here!" I heard a guy talked as I sat down the bench. I saw Mason smiled and waved at me. So I waved back.
"So, how's the preparation going?" He brushed his hair and took a gulp from his water bottle.
"Good. Really good." He smiled but looked away.
"So you plan on playing soccer all your life?" I saw his face move into a grin and looked forward as if staring blankly.
"If I get paid playing, well yeah of course. I have to have a job. But if soccer's offering me that kind of job I am wishing for, then yeah. I can't afford my wife to work knowing our kids may grow unsupervised." I blushed at the thought of Mason having a family. He would be a great dad and I'm sure he'll have the most gorgeous wife in this planet. He really got his future planned out while I still don't know what to do after highschool.
Mason Green
I always wished for a family I never had. My mother won't tell me what happened to my father but I assume it's bad since she looked like crying every time I bring the topic out. I will make sure though that my kid won't experience the same thing. I will make sure that he or she will have a mother and a father that would guide him/her in life.
I looked at Sara and she is blushing mad. She'll be a good wife, taking care of our kids, kissing me when I get home, waiting patiently and loving me unconditionally.
God I want to smack myself. Did I just thought of Sara being my wife?
I should probably go and smack my head. Hard.
