Chase Humphry
Yesterday was indeed a fiasco. I don't know what happened to me when I brought her to a drinking pub and I ultimately regret letting her bring me home. I am definitely showing my weakness and I don't want her to write that around the school paper. I have enough troubles in my life to add that a silly girl.
Strange how my eyes were looking for her during lunch and the feeling of relief when I saw her seating alone. Her eyes met mine but I looked away. Before I noticed, she was walking towards me.
"I know you don't really like me and I don't know if I should apologize for that but I have a task at hand. So I have to observe you. I'm sorry." I've heard too much apologies in my lifetime that I don't believe in them anymore. From the tragic death of my father, to my brother's suicide, I don't think being sorry means anything anymore. But hearing Sara say it, it brings back all the meaning. The sincerity in her voice makes me want to believe that she is indeed sorry. She sat silently spaces away from me and started eating her food. She must have noticed that I don't have any food on my tray that she silently pushed a bowl of mac and cheese without looking at my direction.

I honestly feel like a lost puppy when I have to follow Chase around the school. I saw Mason with a worried look but I gave him a reassuring smile.
I was about to walk home when I felt someone caught my arm behind me. I looked back and it was Chase. "Not gonna follow me anymore?" I faced him and felt a little nervous. "You want me to?" and he smiled. He dragged my hand towards his car without asking if I agree or not. The next thing I knew he is driving.
"I hope we're not going into a drinking pub again because if we are, I might as well go home." I crossed my hands. He flashed that smirk that I hated so much and sped off the pedal.
When I thought he is bringing me t somewhere less dangerous, I couldn't be anymore wrong. My legs are shaking and my hands are sweating as I am standing in front of a gun store. And the worst case scenario? He'll buy a gun to shoot me as well as inviting others to have a shoot fest with me as a target.

"So I presume this is your hobby?" I tried to sound professional which clearly is failing. I am extremely scared being near guns since accidental deaths happens rapidly, what more being inside a store full of it?
"Not hobby but work. I'm just running errands." He looked so stern and serious and I feel like I am talking to a man instead of a seventeen year old boy.
"Errands? You use guns for work?" Mason is right all along. He is dangerous considering his association with guns.
"Not your problem baby girl." He flashed that stupid smirk of his. Baby girl? Don't 'baby girl' me mister!
He continued to talk to an old man near the counter as I sway my legs on a high chair somewhere across them. He seemed to be hiding something. Like look at him! Thought I can't really point it out, but it's there. In his aura, in his face. Something about him is so mysterious and... dangerous.
I was lost in my thoughts when another guy around thirties approached me seductively. "What a lovely view we have here, huh?" he tried to caress the back of my hand put I yanked it away.
"Phil, she's with me. Back off." Chase, with sudden anger on his eyes, rushed at my side.
"Oh, a marked territory. Sorry my bad." Phil raised his hand on surrender and disappeared with the man Chase was talking to before.
"Did he hurt you?" There's a sudden rush in Chase's voice that all I want to do is melt on his arms.
"No. I'm fine. Are you done?" I smiled at him and to my surprise, he smiled back.
