22. Brain Trauma

I wake up alone in Marcus's bed. I look around and it has to be after lunch time. I try to get up and I get tangled in the blanket. I fall into the chair and table. I hit my head right on the corner of the table. I bounce off them and hit the closet door. I slide down the closet door and sit on the floor naked. I think I pass out for a second. Then I wake up again. I nod. "Still drunk I see."

I carefully stand up and take my shower. I throw on a human dress and comb my hair straight. My head just keeps bleeding. It really don't look to bad though. Then I drink some blood and eat some sugary bread that tastes really good on my way to Dipak's office.

I walk in and Dipak looks at me. "You forget something sweetheart?"

I look down. I'm not naked. That's good. I pull on the dress a little bit and look back at him. I shake my head and shove the last bite of bread in my mouth.

He nods. "Ok."

Marcus looks at me. "What happened to your head?"

"Fell out of bed."

Tye looks at me. "Want some fruit babydoll?" He gets the biggest smile.

"NO FRUIT FOR YOU." I turn to leave and kick Dipak's desk on accident. Somehow I fall right on the floor. "FUCKING SHIT. I FORGOT SHOES DIPAK."

He nods. "Yep."

The door guard looks at me. "Borins are out here."

I look at him and scream. "ENTER"

Elijah and his mate walk in first. They both look at me on the floor and start laughing. Elek and Elroy come in behind them. Elroy loses it. Then he helps me up.

"Thank you sir."

"My pleasure." He fixes the sleeve of my dress then goes over and sits down at my end of the table.

Elek looks at me. "Is your head ok? It's really bleeding."

I look at him. "I fell out of bed."

He nods.

Dipak looks at him. "Just don't ask Tye to move from that end of the table. I don't think he can."

Tye and Elek both crack up laughing.

"Fair enough." Elek sits down in my spot.

Tye looks at me. "Want some fruit babydoll."

"I WILL MURDER YOU WITH THE FRUIT DISH." I go grab the plate of fruit and break it over his head.

He jumps up and then hits his knees. He grabs my legs and hugs them. "I'm so sorry babydoll."

Marcus looks at Elek. "Did they fight like this last night?"

He shakes his head. "Not at all."

Marcus looks at me. "Why are you so mad now?"

"HE WANTS ME TO EAT FRUIT."

He nods and everyone at the table tries not to laugh. Then Marcus stands up. "You go find something else to do for a bit. Why don't you go see how Elkie and Dorseti are doing?" I nod. "Tye you just sit over there. And no more talk of fruit. Servant can you clean all this up."

Dipak looks at her. "Just get rid of the fruit. No more today. Bring some cakes or breads or something."

Marcus starts pulling on Tye. "Tye you'll be fine. She just doesn't want fruit. You have to let go."

Tye finally lets go of me and I walk to the medical area. Bunch of assholes.

I get up to the medical area and feel like I'm half asleep.
