122. Unveiled

We get stopped for eye scans no less than 13 times getting back to the castle. Then we go up to Dipak's office and change disguises. Just normal looking teenagers.

Then it dawns on me all of a sudden. "Tye the test being altered wasn't because of me or Mason. Someone thinks I'm Edwin's mate. They don't want him to get his mate. That's why he wants me to wait. Why he's worried about me bonding with Mason early. He thinks it might be true. He's upset it was altered too."

"That makes a hell of a lot more sense than a magician wanting Johen."

I look at him and we crack up laughing. "You boys are all sexy. But yea, I don't see anyone going to that length to try and get 1 of you. People are crazy though."

"Yea, we really can't rule it out." He puts an arm around me and we go to the royal boxes.

I plop down between Mason and Marcus. I'm nearly sitting on Marcus. He looks at me for a second then he picks up a box and scans my eye.

"Hi angel. Did you have fun down there?"

"Yea but the seats aren't very comfortable. It's hot in the sun. I need a drink. The sun made me need a nap."

Dipak kneels on the chair in front of me and hands me a drink. "Do not stalk demons woman."

"We weren't. We got stuck behind him trying to get back in the arena. Oh and the band people love the new spot. We told them we would try to make it permanent. And we need to figure out something to do with the reentry. It was horrible."

He nods. "Any thoughts on what you heard down there?"

"Someone else thinks I'm Edwin's mate and paid to have the test altered so I would bond with Mason instead of him. They don't want Edwin to find his mate. I don't think it has anything to do with us. Of course Edwin is angry about this. I think he's trying to figure out who wanted it altered as well."

Tre looks at us. "Well he's a demon. He's demonic. A lot of people are not going to like him or want him to find his mate."

Dipak nods. "Going to be quite hard to narrow down that list."

I shrug my shoulders. "But to prevent a person from finding their mate is horrible. That's worse than demonic. Everyone should have a chance to find their soul mate."

Marcus kisses my head. "I love this woman. She is now standing up for the rights of demons."

The boys all chuckle.

"I'm serious though. That's horrible."

Dipak nods. "I don't think you understand the meaning of the word demon or demonic. But we're just going to let that go. What are you planning on doing now that a demon thinks you're his mate?"

"Nothing. All he wants is for me to wait until I feel the mating pull. That's exactly what I plan to do anyways. I'll get my wolf in a couple months hopefully. I want to go to the mating ball if I don't get her to early. That's it."

"You plan on waiting to bond with Mason baby?"

"Well there really is 2 of us that have to discuss that. Well 3. But yea, I seen you boys all get love drunk, as you put it, when I hit my head that day. I know the mate pull is really strong and I want to feel that more than anything. I mean, if we bond first then I won't, right?"

Kane nods. "It would get more intense. But it would be no where near the initial pull most people get when they find each other as adults."

Dipak smiles at me. "If you want to feel that, then you do have to wait until you get your wolf. And you're right, that is something the 2 of you have to decide."
