I stared at him in shock. "So, what did you just say?"

As if realizing something, Hyunjin covered his mouth and cleared his throat. "I meant like in a friend way. Not it that way. Like in a friend way, please don't get it confus-"

Now it was my turn to smirk. His nervous ranting was funny. I had never seen him so worked up like this and I had to take my chance to tease him a little. "Oh, but that still means you love me," I pressed my face closer to his, looking him in the eye, but then pulled away with a giggle. A small burst of pink tinted his cheeks.

"In a cliche K-drama you would've kissed me," Hyunjin commented, unable to hide his redness. It was so cute.

"Right, but this is not a cliche K-drama. It's real life," I replied with a small smirk towards him.

Guess our roles were reversed now, huh?

The only difference was that he definitely didn't like me.

ur free today right? meet me downstairs in around thirty minutes and we'll go somewhere special

what special place?

HandsomeBoyHyunjin:

;)

I really wondered where he wanted to take me and what he wanted to talk about. But then I realized. I was going to confess to him at some point, wasn't I? Maybe I could do it today. Yes, determination and confidence, Areum. Woo! Go you.

I walked downstairs to the entrance of the JYP building, and there Hyunjin was, his blonde hair neatly combed and styled as usual. Somehow he made a pair of baggy jeans and a basic white tee look good. I could never, honestly.

I was casual today, so besides the tiniest bit of makeup and a basic pair of flared jeans and cropped top, I didn't do much styling. My hair was a mess, even though I had combed it.

"Wow, you're pretty" Hyunjin commented as soon as he saw me. I immediately blushed again. I think I blush way too much.

"Y-you too!" I stammered. It was true, though.

"So, does that mean I'm handsome?" Hyunjin said with a smirk as he leaned closer to my face.

"Y-yes! No!" I stuttered through my panic. Shit, Areum, what were you saying?

"Oh," The grin on Hyunjin's face only grew wider as he teased me. "Do you think I look especially good today?"

"N-no!" I replied, almost panicking at this point because what I had said was a complete lie. He looked so hot and cute at the same time that it was almost illegal.

"Haha, you're so cute," Hyunjin said as he poked my cheeks. "It's adorable."

So was this guy flirting with me now? He probably just found someone who is actually able to stand up to his teasing.

"So," I tried to switch the conversation topic. "Where are we going today?"

At this, Hyunjin immediately whipped out his phone to start a route. "It's a surprise," He winked at me as he hid the phone from me. He also quickly handed me a mask for obvious reasons.

God, I'm actually dead. The tone? The wink? I think I've fallen too deep at this point.

"U-uh, okay! Yes, great, totally okay. I love that idea, even though I have no idea where we're going, but I'm trusting you with that," I rambled nervously, anxiety spiking up. I was actually embarrassing myself so much in front of my crush.
