OMG I LOVED THIS IDEA SO MUCH. THANKS KYLA FOR YOUR AMAZING IDEA.

"Oh shoot,” I mumble to myself

I am running late for my interview with The Sun UK. I am supposed to be there at 11:00 and it is currently 10:50. How am I going to get out of the taxi, run to the elevator, make it to the 37th floor and sign in at the front desk in less than 10 minutes? This is going to be quiet a journey. I started to run from the taxi as soon as I gave him his pay. The elevators were now in sight. RUNNNN I shouted in my head

“Hold up!” I screamed as I saw the elevator doors closing. Thankfully the guy clicked on the door opener button so he would be waiting for me.

I ran even quicker towards the doors.

“Thank You,” I said as the doors close. Boy was I out of breath. I probably was all sweaty looking. I should hit the gym soon. Eh, who am I kidding; me going to the gym? Is this some kind of joke…

Ding. Floor 18. The machine said

Floor 19

Floor 20

Floor 21

BAM

The lights were flicking on and off and the elevator shaft started to move.

“Omg” I said while breathing in and out. Elevators were my worst fear.

“It’s okay. Let me just try to call 911.” A good looking guy in the corner said

“You don’t understand, I—I will be late for my interview. I’m already late. And I’m scared of elevators and it’s getting dark and the shaft is moving. And what if you wouldn’t have been in here than I would have been all alone and I would probably have died or cried forever in the corner and wouldn’t have called for help because I don’t know what to do because-“I started to mumble

“Come here,” he said motioning to where he was sitting “you are going to be alright, your aren’t alone as you can see. What’s your name love?” He asked

“Erm, erm,” I was mesmerized by his beautiful eyes. “I’m Kyla.”

“It’s nice to meet you Kyla. I’m Finn Harries. So, what where you doing going to the 37th floor?”

Finn was calming me down with this small talk. It shocked me that he remembered that I had pressed that floor number.

“I was going for a job interview with The Sun. What were you doing going to erm,” I said scanning to see which floor he was going on. “The 50th floor?”

“Hahaha,” his laugh was adorable. “I was going to the YouTube headquarters to meet my brother since we both are YouTubers and we had an interview with the YouTuber chief.” He said

“Thanks for making me feel horrible for not knowing who you were.” I teased

“Well we only have a million subscribers.”

“Now I feel even more horrible.”

“Don’t worry; I didn’t expect you to know who I was.”

“So do you have any clue when the firemen are going to be here?”

“You sound eager to see them? Is it since they are hot?” he teased

“No, it’s cause I’m freezing. Dang it, I shouldn’t have put on this skirt; I should have gone with the pants I chose in the first place.”

“Here, take my jacket.” He offered

“Aren’t you cold? It’s freezing in here.”

“You need it more than I do.”

“Ladies and Gentlemen, please remain calm in the elevators. We have experienced a short problem in the circuit and firemen are working on it at the moment.”

Ding. Floor 22 The elevator chimed

Yes it was fixed!

“I wish the elevator wouldn’t have gotten fixed.” Finn pouted

“Why?” I asked glad that it was fixed

“I wanted to get to know you more.”

“Well, if you want we can grab a coffee sometime?” I offered

“Yes, let me give you my cell number so I can text you. Actually, how about we meet at the main lobby of the building after all our interviews. Around 1:30? Does that give you enough time?”

“It sure does.” I said noticing his goofy smile.

“I’ll see you soon.” He said as I was getting off the elevator shaft

I couldn’t help myself but notice that I as well had a goofy smile across my face. I completely forgot to give him back his jacket. Oh well, maybe he would want it back later.
