The moon reflected on the water in the lac. The stars shined as bright as my diamond promise ring that I got three years ago. The noise of the busy London streets were blocked out by the numberous trees surrounding me. I was sitting on a swing large enough to fit two people. If only the person I was hoping to share the seat with would show up like he told me. It's been over an hour and he still hasn't showed up; this was unlike him. I had followed his orders by wearing the beautiful turquoise dress he bought me , the gorgeous diamond white heels with matching jewelery. I was thankful that I had brought a cardigan because the temperture decreased as the moon went up.

Creek Creek

Who was there? Oh no, someone probably followed me and was going to kidnap me I shouldn't have came on my own. I tried to hide myself as quickly as I can but I failed since the person who I was terified to face sat beside me. Great, now I was sharing my seat with some criminal instead of my boyfriend. I knew screaming wouldn't help since I was in the middle of nowhere. I felt the man's hot breath near my ear.

"You look beautiful tonight Grace." a very familiar voice said

This wasn't any criminal; this was my boyfriend that I have miss so much.

"Alfie" I scream with joy. I could feel a smile plastered on my face as I say this.

"I'm sorry I am late; I was busy preparing something for us. Follow me." I take his hand and follow him to a place I knew all too well.

He dragged me towards the place that we had our first date, the place were he confessed his love to me, the place where he asked me to be his girlfriend, the place were he gave me a promise ring. However

,

this was in my 5th time here

 and

 I

didn't recognize the meadow. It seemed like a whole different place. Lanters were hanging on trees, a candle was place onto a table and chairs were placed strategically around it.

 "Woah." I managed to say

We sat down and enjoyed a beautiful meal together. Half way through the meal, Alfie stopped eating and came beside me.

"Grace, I want you to know that I love you. I have loved you from the moment I met you. Your eyes captivated me from the first time I looked into them. The way your voice flowed elegantly when you spoke and how beautiful you looked brought my butterflies to my stomach. As time moved on, the feeling never left my stomach. Each day as I wake up beside you, I have the same feeling in my stomach. I think myself as the luckiest guy on earth because I get to date the girl that I always wanted to meet. When I was younger, I thought that I would grow up old and be alone. But that all changed when I met you. You changed me for the good. I don't want to live another day knowing that another guy could win you over or that you might leave me. I want to make our relationship permanent. I want you to become Mrs. Deyes and I hope that the day will arrive soon. I want to have children and grow old with you. Only you. What I am trying to say is, Will you marry me?" He asked

I could feel the mascara stream down my cheeks as he finished his sentence.

"Yes" I chocked out between sobs

I gave Alfie a kiss on the lips knowing that soon enough I will be walking down the aisle having my first kiss with Alfie as husband and wife.
