It has become a natural habit for Aidan to pass by Hal's residence and go to school with him. This habit persisted even when they were in college and everyone had gotten used to seeing them together, like two peas in a pod. When there was Hal, there should be Aidan too, and vice versa. There were some days where Hal would forget to check his phone and missed Aidan's calls but the other man always knew where to find him.
Just like that day...
Walking to Hal's favorite corner in the library, he found a wide and tall book opened, obviously hiding someone and he grinned knowing exactly what Hal was doing. As he approached him slowly, Aidan found a sleeping Hal being covered by that open book, his head resting on his arms, snoring softly. Aidan snorted but didn't want the librarian to notice him and decided to stifle his laugh.
"Hal?" He whispered, trying to wake up the other. "Hal...wake up."
But Halwyn was deep in slumber and probably dreaming that day and as Aidan's face went closer, something caught his attention. Something that he didn't mean to feel...
The sleeping Hal was so innocent that day, his complexion was so white that it was almost the color of the snow, his luscious lips were parted, a shade of salmon pink and his nose was tall and small. To put it lucidly, Hal was enchantingly beautiful...
Aidan found himself awestruck and was unable to speak, for he had seen and dated all the beautiful girls in the university yet no one was like him. No one. He stood there and stared...and he stared until the other person woke up.

"You're not performing at your best," Dylan, the bassist, rarely complained about his bandmates and never about Aidan. Among the members, Aidan was the best, almost at the top of his skill and his performance always exceeded everyone's expectations.
Today was a fan meet and they were asked to perform in front of the sponsors. They could tell that Aidan was not in the mood and was not giving it all. He walked to the dressing room, not wanting to start an argument with any of the members, and wiped the makeup off his face.
"Aidan, what's going on? We have sponsors there, man..." Floyd tried to put this mildly but the man only glared.
"Such a jerk..."
Dylan's words definitely hit a nerve and Aidan whirled around to face the other. "What?" Dylan provoked and Floyd was obliged to stand between them. "Hey, come on. Stop it."
The left side of his jaw was pulsating but Aidan still refused to explain the poor performance and turned to leave but not before Dylan said, "You're always like that! Fucking selfish. Do you think the whole world revolves around you because you're more famous than any of us? No wonder Hal hates you."
At the mention of the person's name, Aidan reached his boiling point, turned around, and hit Dylan hard in the face---Dylan fell, totally shocked.
"STOP! Aidan, stop---" Floyd panicked but thankfully Owen and their manager Glenda came in, summoned by Floyd's exclaim and the sound of fighting from the outside.
Glenda, "What's going on?"
"What the fuck are you doing, Aidan?" Owen checked on Dylan's face before turning to the band's leader.
"Asked him," Aidan jerked his head towards Dylan, grabbed his leather jacket, and walked out of the room.

Outside, Owen was following the band leader who walked as though he was flying. Aidan went straight to the parking space, seemingly decided to leave the place, and was obviously no longer interested in continuing the activity. He would've walked straight to his car but he spotted Eurig standing next to Owen's vehicle, equally shocked to see him.
