Overlooking the sea, a boutique hotel could be found with acres of woodland and gardens and was located just a 10-minute walk from the magical coastal path. The restaurant was a beautiful candlelit space that served technically accomplished food cooked with local produce, including fresh fish from the harbor.

It requires a reservation to get a table in this place but that was never an issue for someone like Aidan Pryce, and if Halwyn Yale would be playing the role of a rich bitch, he might as well choose one of the most well-known places.

"Breath in, breath out..."

"I AM BREATHING!" Hal snapped at Maxen who was now consoling him like he was about to give birth.

Max argued, "I'm only trying to help!?"

"Please, stop. Why is this dress so tight now!"

Eurig gave him a disapproving look. "You're only going to be a girl for a day, imagine what real girls feel like. Get out of the car and go to the restaurant. He should be there."

"He is there," Hal answered as he read a text message from Aidan, but the man was texting Hal and not Gwen. He asked him if he was at the meeting place already so he could tell Gwen. "This is stupid. Why didn't you talk me out of this?"

Eurig glared and enunciated very, very slowly, "Get-the-fuck-out-of-my-car."

Drawing a deep sigh, Halwyn stepped outside and touched his head which was now suddenly growing long, wavy locks. For the final touch, his friends opted for him to wear a silk, belted midi dress with a lively polka dot in a bright azure blue that was long enough not to show too much of his legs but did reveal a pair of ankles that looked almost feminine coupled with white leather pumps.

The restaurant was called Rhosyn which meant "rose" and there were plenty on display in the gardens of the lovingly restored country house. The setting itself provided a calming atmosphere but that wasn't what Halwyn was feeling at the present. He felt suffocated and was on the verge of vomiting.

The moment he arrived inside, he immediately found Aidan browsing through the menu. When the man raised his head and met his eyes from across the room, Halwyn held his breath. There was something about the way Aidan looked at him that was so different from the past. It was tender, adoring, and devoted. Halwyn waited for this moment for a very long time and would've rejoiced if he hadn't been slapped by the reality that Aidan was looking at him not as Hal but as someone else.

Aidan almost gasped as he saw her walking towards him, tall and with long, wavy hair and that face...he had seen all kinds of women in his life and all of them were as beautiful as the next. But Gwenith Bach was something else...

There was something quite familiar yet also a stranger about her. If he were to describe her in one word, he must say that she was indeed an enigma. She exuded this powerful charm that was hard to ignore and he remembered how she disregarded and refused his advances even when he was being very obvious about it.

When she finally arrived at their table, Aidan stood up and pulled out a chair. She looked at him and frowned, but did sit on the chair and waited for him to do the same.

"Why do you want to see me?"

Wow, the woman doesn't really waste time, Aidan thought. He cleared his throat, "I feel like we've got off the wrong foot, and I want to change your first impression of me. You know, give me a chance to redeem myself."

Her scowl deepened. "What for?"

He shrugged, "Is it wrong?" Pausing for a moment, he went on, "Are you with someone?"
