HELLO MY DARLINGS! EXAMS ARE OVER AND I'M HAPPY! HENCE, I SPENT THE WHOLE DAY WRITING THIS:) i like this part of the story because yeah, i need juliet to start doing something and she is! AND, i like dressing her up! WHOOPS, i gave something away! Anyway, if there is anything i can improve upon, please do tell me because i am afraid that my writing becomes crazy! ENJOY THIS!:)
"You WHAT?" I winced as all four of my dearest friends yelled at me.
"I said, I was going to teach Thomas a lesson." I said, smiling tentatively.
"Girl, did somebody knock your brains out or something?" Sophie stared at me incredulously from under her mascara-thick eyes. "You would never do such a thing!" She said.
"Well," I shrugged. "I did. Maybe someone did knock my brains out." I considered that option.
Of course, I wasn't sane when I made that stupid decision to take Thomas on. But something inside me was...it was kind of yelling at me to do it. If I don't, that jerk will probably just carry on breaking girls' hearts while using the excuse that I was the one at fault, and I would never be able to figure him out. Either way, it was the choice between jumping in front of the train to retrieve a book, or to throw someone else to get the book for me. My choice, was really no choice at all actually. Besides, unlike some people, I actually had a conscience and the sanity, AND the immunity to know how to deal with this guy better.
Well, so I was in this deep pot of boiling soup that I had leapt into willingly, and I have no idea what to do now. So, the obvious thing would be to consult my friends. My friends, who were still shocked at my actions. Apparently, they heard it from a friend's, friend's, friend who knows a friend who was a friend of the group of students at the lockers this morning. It was only an hour past and everyone knew! Isn't that fantastic?
"This is serious, Juliet. You have no idea what you're getting into!" Alica said, her eyes wide with shock.
"Oh, she does alright. But I don't understand what would make her play such a game," Kyle turned to me, his brown eyes studying me.
"Because the only way he'll listen to me, is when I beat him in his own game." I sighed. "Honestly guys, I'm not ecstatic for this game too."
"I don't know about you guys, but I think its a brilliant idea." Sophie declared.
"Sophie! It's going to get her into a ton of trouble!" Lydia protested.
"No it isn't. Like you said, Kyle, she knows what she's getting into. The only worry is that if she's able to break him." She said systematically.
I glanced at Sophie in surprise. I didn't know she could get my meaning so fast.
Alright, I was a tomboy since young. I hate make-up, wearing dresses, and I never...well, bothered about how I looked. I wore whatever I wanted to, and I didn't give a damn if you don't like it. The problem is, now, I have to make Thomas like me. I wasn't going to bother with the usual 'love me for who I am' tactic because number one, it takes a long time to achieve and number two, I wasn't going to fall in love with him. So, the easiest way is to make myself more likeable, so it wouldn't be too hard. Well, it wouldn't be hard at all, if I knew how to start.
"You're not the only with brains, girl." Sophie flipped out her cellphone and checked the date. "Alright, we have time during this afternoon, so we're going to give you a makeover."
"Er..."
"Not to drastic," Sophie reassured me. "I just need to make you more....you." She said somewhat lamely.
