HELLO EVERYBODY! it has been a long week and gosh, I AM EXHAUSTED and dude, its like the second week of term. Great! Anyway, this is the next chapter and I'M SORRY if it took too long, but...:) oh, there is...quite a bit here. it may be a little different from my usual style but hey, this story needed action.

You would not believe how glad I am that the week was over. Throughout the last five days, Thomas was practically testing every single ounce of patience I possessed with all his dirty tricks and taunts. He alternated between sugar sweet jibes and sour remarks about my Father, and I swear, I so wanted to throw him off a building or something.

I yawned as I glanced out of my window. It was a Saturday, and thank goodness I did not have to actually face Thomas. Five days was more than enough for me. I was going to take a break from all my scheming and plotting today, I decided. Just to be myself again, and not bother about whatever he was going to use against me next.

I yawned again and got off my bed lazily, trudging over to my cupboard to pick out an old comfortable t-shirt and a pair of shorts. I hesitated a little when I opened the door to the toilet, checking if my Mom was still in the house. Apparently, she wasn't.

My Mother and I seemed to have come to this consensus that we won't mention my Dad. In a way, it was a little like avoiding the actual problem but both of us were still bleeding over our fight on Saturday. We had never fought like that before, and it was something we didn't want to do again.

I changed in glee and slapped my familiar cap onto my messy hair. Man, it was good to be myself again. No dressing up, no acting sweet, just being old, cynical me.

I smiled and...seriously, I was really happy. It felt so great to actually be myself. It was almost like zipping out of a huge stuffy suit and feeling the breeze on your bare skin again. I stretched my arms and grinned widely. I am not going to think about Thomas today. It was my day, and I was going to enjoy it.

Richard had adamantly refused to answer to my request about the kissing thing. In fact, his reluctance to reply me totally distracted me, and Thomas, though unaware of our deal, made the most of my divided attention and created a week of hell for me.

  Go figure.

Anyway, like I said, I was going to enjoy my day today. I had finished my homework the night before, so I was practically free to do whatever I want today. Richard was busy with some administrative matter with his parents, and Sophie and Lydia were out shopping, which I so wanted a break from. Kyle had a date with Camille, and Alicia was out doing a project. Gosh, I wanted to do something so badly, I would gladly get into a fight with Lily! I was on the verge of doing suicide due to boredom when my doorbell rang.

Honestly, after Thomas turned my life upside down for so long, I couldn't help but be a little afraid to open it. Cautiously, I peeked through the window and my heart gave a little happy leap when I saw who it was. Nearly bouncing, I yanked the door open and grinned.

“I thought you had forgotten my existence.” Wes told me dryly.

“Of course I wouldn't. But, aren't you busy today?” I was curious.

Usually, Wes had guitar lessons, so I didn't like to disturb him.

“Nah, I needed a break. So, tree house?” He asked.

I felt my smile get bigger.

“I'm getting the chips,” I said quickly before he could say anything.

  He scowled.

“I don't like getting drinks.” He mumbled.

“Because you never fail to drop a pack while climbing up the ladder? Who's the clumsy one now?” I teased.
