AREN'T YOU HAPPY I POSTED AGAIN? hahah nah, I was just bored. I was done with flag day, and I didn't want to do any homework even though I should be so doing it, so I decided to write another chapter! Like, bring up the intensity! WHOOHOO! so, yeah. I have no idea how this reads like, because I only have the visual in my head. Nevertheless, here you go. An interesting chapter. :)

  I loved driving Thomas insane.

That was ultimately, my most satisfying thought for the day. He had tried (and failed) to unleash his spell on me...until he realized the point of what I was trying to do to him. Honestly speaking, I thought that he would have understood that a long time ago. I mean, with his intelligence, he should have, but he didn't. But of course, he never faced a girl like me before so you can say that I was a new challenge to him.

  Mission accomplished.

Anyway, I was kind of keeping tabs on what's going on in the gossip corner of the school and UGH, guess what? I was the number one topic. Fantastic. Apparently, that girl opposite us this morning had spread the news all around and now, every bimbotic girl hates me, and everyone is wondering who is Richard's date.

Seriously, no matter how much I ponder over it, I have absolutely no idea why they like him so much? Sure, he was pretty good-looking in his modern style plus, he had the awesome hair thing now...but other than that, he was infuriating! His character in weird and complex, and I can't understand him. Maybe that's what the girls see in him: a mysterious person. But the guys...well, maybe they accepted him because he wasn't a threat to their society hierachy(unlike Thomas, who was totally upsetting it), so maybe it was Thomas being a catalyst to Richard being liked.

Other than that, he was just plain boring to me.

I was actually quite surprised that no one had suspected me as being one of the girls that would be his date. Not that I thought much of it, but wouldn't anyone think so? Apparently, Richard hasn't told anyone about that matter yet, and I'm guessing his purpose was to leave it to me to use it against Thomas, but...surely they couldn't have axed me off as 'Richard's potential date.'

Or, maybe they just thought that it would be natural for me to be going with Thomas. After all, I was in a game to make him fall for me, so I would use this opportunity to like get closer or something but they were so wrong. I wasn't going to become some simpering girl that hung by him the whole night, trying to manipulate him into seeing an 'inner' part of me, and let him think that I was about to fall for him. I mean, talk about cliche! It's either:

   1. I fall for him, and create some happily ever after-Cinderella-Pride and Prejudice-scene thing where I see that he is truly just misunderstood. No way. I have been convinced that he is an evil person through and through, thank you very much.

  2. I will, and won't ever use the trick of trying to gain his sympathy, and then manipulate him when he is at his 'sensitive' stage. I didn't want to play with his feelings like that. That's just low, and it's just like him. I wanted to take him head on, and literally bash through his armour, and not finding some secret way in. I might get trapped if I took a shortcut, but if I went straight to attack, at least I'd leave a few bruises. That did not make sense, but yes, it's complicated.

These methods don't seem to suit me, don't you think? So, I chose the point of getting on his nerves. I wanted him to break under pressure not just from me, but from everyone. That way, he wouldn't be able to play any more girls. Simple.

But of course, with my crazy declaration of a game, I was the target by many of the other playboys too. Fortunately and thankfully, they were much easier to get rid that Thomas. Actually, just an insult would do. At that point, I was a little in awe of how versatile and hardy Thomas was. He was able to sustain his dignity throughout the whole thing, and he did it with grace, unlike some guys. In fact, the only pest I had other than him was Oliver, who seemed bent on getting his title of his player-king thing back.
