Hello my dears! Heehee I squeezed this upload because my dear Ann is going overseas for the games tomorrow, and I wanted to give her a little something to dream about there. It's a hastily put together chapter, and I know this isn't the best, but there's some action! All the best my dear! :D

“Why did you make the sudden decision to bring us to the amusement park?” Tom asked curiously as we watched Juliet socialize with Thomas.

Thomas was seriously such a flirt. Come on, can’t he let a six year old girl off?

“Well, I needed to get out of the house, and I’ve always wanted to take Juliet out,” I smiled, enjoying the burning of my skin cells under the sun.

I have been holed up in my house for way too long.

“Why aren’t you Juliet’s boyfriend? Juliet is very pretty,” I heard Juliet ask Thomas.

  Oh dear.

“Well, she doesn’t like me,” Thomas chuckled, holding her hand as they walked.

“But you’re handsome. And you’re nice.” She insisted.

Thomas laughed and turned back at us.

“Juliet, I think she’s makes a good point,” He winked.

  I rolled my eyes.

  “Shut up,” I advised him.

Tom gave a low rumble of a laugh.

“So this is the player you’ve been embroiled with,” He said, a twinkle in his eyes.

“Embroiled is a strong word. I would say, ‘playing’,” I smiled.

I would never admit this to anybody, but it was nice to have someone like a Father who took care of my stuff. At least someone rational and experienced could give me advice.

“Well, he seems unlike your descriptions,” Tom noted.

  I scoffed.

“It’s all an act. He’s a secretly sadistic, horrible, mean person that wouldn’t leave me alone,” I said seriously.

“I’m not deaf, Juliet,” Thomas glared at me.

“Shush. Continue flirting with Juliet,” I teased.

“Then why are you letting him come along?” Tom asked.

  Good question.

“He’s being annoying. He loves torturing me with his presence,” I told him.

  Tom laughed.

“Doesn’t seem that way to me,” He joked.

“Ugh, no, I’m just his latest target. Trust me, once he had his fun, he’ll be off to terrorize another girl,” I said seriously.

Tom gave me a glance, and was it concern and amusement I saw in his eyes?

Oh fine, so he was amused.

  Fantastic.

Before he could say anything else, little Juliet laughed.

“Oh Daddy, look! It’s the amusement park!” She let go of Thomas’ hand and grabbed Tom’s, pulling him forward.

The amusement park was wonderful. It wasn’t brand new, or flashy with loud advertisements. From the outside, it looked almost vintage, and beautifully sustained. I could hear shouts of laughter from inside, and it seems busy in a cheery kind of way. You could see the carousals, the roller coaster rides, and all that. Mind you, I’m still on the outside. Which means the moment I step inside, it’s going to be more amazing.
