~*The next day (Past Y/n's birthday, nearing Spring Break)*~
Lunch had just ended as quiet chatter filled the room. I sat beside Sho, who was quietly looking around as I was reading a book. I was just getting to the best part when the bell rang. I sighed, reaching for my bookmark. Before I could even close my book, All Might burst into the room heroically. He had that grin that everyone knew him for, but I thought his entrance was quite overdramatic.
"I AM HERE FOR YOUR HERO TRAINING CLASS!" He yelled, his voice sounding like he was right beside me and speaking very loudly. I winced, almost jumping out of my seat. Everyone else was calmly shuffling their things around. He must do this often, I observe. Because no one was as surprised as me. Sho nudged me reassuringly and I understood the message behind it. "He does this a lot, don't worry. You get used to it after a bit," I could hear him speak in my head.
"Ahem," he coughed, lowering his voice so it sounded like he was speaking over a small group of schoolchildren, even though everyone was dead silent. "Today, young children, we will be working on our weaknesses. You see, our weaknesses are what limit us-" He went on into a lecture as we listened for a solid fifteen minutes.
I zoned out while staring at my water bottle, thinking about what I would work on. My weaknesses... Probably extracting water from the air, not passing out after overworking myself, and... I refused to let myself think of the other one. That weakness will stay in the forest until there's no other option. I then sighed under my breath as he finished lecturing us. He then moved on to explain the activity.
"I will pair you up based on what I think you and your partner need to work on.
"For example," He picked up a piece of chalk and wrote down Kaminari and Jirou in large, bold letters. "Young Kaminari," Kaminari's head instantly jerked up, looking around for who said his name. All Might waited patiently for him to notice. "You need to work on not..." He paused, looking for the right words to say. "Losing your head... when you discharge too much electricity. You should work on upping the voltage, but not overworking yourself. And young Jirou," he said, looking at her. She was playing with her cords, looking up from her desk. "You need to work on hand-to-hand combat in case you don't have any objects to amplify your heartbeat with.
"Does everyone understand?" He asked loudly. I'm pretty sure the classes down two halls heard his question. He has a great outside voice, but does he have an inside one? Can he do a good teacher whisper?
"Yes, Sensei!" the class chorused together, me included. It wasn't even the same volume as his voice. He then dismissed us to change into our hero costumes. He told us to listen for an announcement.

I stripped myself down, putting my clothes into my locker. I then slipped into the blouse-like hoodie and the shorts of my hero suit, adjusting it so.
The black sweater was made of a light, airy, sweat-wicking material, allowing me to bend stored-up sweat if needed. It had a light cyan water droplet on it, the colour also on the neck, waistband and wrist elastics. A small belt held necessary materials, such as Advil, spirit water (for intense healing), a piece of HIGHLY scented cloth (so I don't pass out), and bandages. My shorts are made of the same material as my top, with pockets for storage. I have a water bottle that latches onto the belt, and it's quite light and compact. The shorts come with a lot of pockets since I always like to have everything on me. The knee-high socks are for leg protection (I HATE knee scapes) and the rest is decoration.
My hair is in a ponytail; There's no time for loose strands in the middle of a fight. Honestly, I wonder how Pro Heros deal with their luscious locks in the middle of a fight. Mt. Lady especially. Her hair never seems to get in the way, but mine does.
