NICO SLEPT SOUNDLY in her room, which was easily interrupted by nelson and lavar barging into her room, starting to jump on her and her bed.
"bro, get the fuck out" nico whined, dragging out her words. tiredly she rubbed her eyes letting them adjust to the natural sunlight from the window
cam spoke from the doorway, "no can do neeks, gotta get up." he walked off, the camera man following him as nelson and lavar continued
nico sat up, visibly pissed at the boys who now stood at the edge of her bed.
"goodmorning to you too nico, damn." lavar muttered the last part due to her harsh glare
nico cursed under her breath. "why the hell am i being jumped on at," she glanced at her phone, "9:45?!" her voice raised at the ( what she would consider ) outrageous time to be awoken
"tryouts, loser." nelson fought his smile as he noticed nicos bedhead, which wasnt terrible but definitely not pretty.
nico huffed before standing up, letting her legs stretch. "you just gonna stand there or leave so i can change? weirdos" she laughed to herself as they rushed out of the room quickly
she began getting ready, getting changed, brushing her teeth and hair. the basics mainly.
once she came downstairs everyone was off to the gym for tryouts
THE ALL STARTED walking towards the gym, cam and lucas talking to the camera.
lucas started talking to nelson, "you gotta 1 v 1 somebody today."
then cam turned towards the camera. "so a 12 year old pulled up and i was like okay this is for 15 and up and i said if you beat nelson one-on-one you can make the team"
nico noticed how nelsons face turned pink, clearly embarrassed about it. cam talked to him over nicos head as she walked inbetween them. "so you gotta cook. oh this is the one thing nelson said he didnt wanna do was 1v1"
nelson started muttering about it and nico smiled, "so you're nervous?" she teased, looking up at him as they made it to the entrance doors of the building
"yes" he admitted, looking in the other direction not wanting nico to see his face
the boys started talking amongst themselves while nico scrolled through instagram
once they made it into the gym, nicos eyes went wide as she realized how many kids were actually there. sure she'd been in a room with more but sometimes crowds freaked her out
nelson noticed, "you good nico?" he asked
she nodded, biting her nails. something she normally found herself doing. "huh? yeah im fine. you?"
