IT WAS TIME for the championship game, nico was walking with lucas and cam while he talked to the camera
"you excited to go to texas?" lucas asked, knowing they were leaving that night
nico shrugged, "i guess, it'll just be weird not having any friends there ya know?"
"im sure you'll keep in touch with nelson if anything" lucas assured her.
nico repeated her action once more, "i dont even know where he lives, but maybe. its just annoying because kelseys being weird for god knows what reason and-"
"nelson! nico! over here!" cam yelled, even though nico was only about six feet from him
they both walked over, nico telling lucas she'll continue later. "how many likes?"
nelson rubbed his hands together, a large grin on his face. "its the championship game, you know what im sayin. we have to get a lot of likes on this video soooo" he trailed off looking at nico whom wasnt truly paying much mind
he nudged her slightly, "hm?" she hummed
"500,000 likes!" nelson exclaimed
a little kid came up to the camera, "a million!"
cam shook his head, "alright yall wildin, gimme like, said 500,000? 50! its the championship game"
"yeah yeah 50,000 is good!" nelson exclaimed before walking back towards everyone who was practicing
cam turned to nico who just stared at the floor, biting her nails. the camera turned off and cam was by her side, "nico? you good?" he asked, bringing her back into reality
"what? no yeah im good" she nodded, her phone dinged making her stop biting her nails it was giannis telling nico that he said good luck for the team
cam just nodded, "aight, cmon team huddle." he said walking with her as he called the team to a huddle
"championship game yall boys! its the chip, i aint never won me a fucking chip in my life! you hear what im sayin? never. even in high school. state chip? i lost. i aint never won a chip!" cam exclaims
"this the one, this is the team yall. these lil dudes look like they pretty nice but we're go one two two" cam started talking about plays "lucas anything to add?"
lucas spoke up, "we just gotta cook, this is our last game. we made it this far we can win it, yall the best team ive helped coach-" "the only team you've helped coach" "nico shut up, any ways yall, just do what you do best, hoop."
