IT WAS DAY one of the new york / new jersey tournament. they arrived at the court an hour early, and nico was way to tired for this.
she fought the urge to rub her tired eyes due to the mascara she applied not even thirty minutes ago
they were in the opposite lot of the court, since all of the fans had what looked like a never ending line infront of the building.
nico stood by nikki and mallory, whom were just as tired as nico. none of the girls understood how the boys could wake up this early and play basketball
"i swear yall reem got me heated yo" nikki ranted as she argued with her boyfriend through the phone, kareem ( nikkis boyfriend ) didnt make rwe's team and was pissed nikki was with rwe & her sister
nico sympathized, "just put your phone on dnd and think about something else"
nikki listened. after shoving her phone angrily into a purse, she closed her eyes and took a deep breath.
mallory face lit with a playfully evil smile, "so nini, how long have you and nelson been dating?"
nini , was the nickname the morrow sisters had gifted nico. which nico didnt mind, she thought it was cute
nico looked away to hide her blush from her new friends, "we arent dating" she told them
perfect timing, nelson walked over, wrapping his arm around nicos shoulders holding his shiesty
"who isnt dating?" he questioned, being nosy.
nikki sent nico a look saying 'he definitely likes you' with her eyes
nico shook her head, shooting down nikkis ideas. mallory took this as the perfect opportunity, "you and nico" she replied to nelson
nelson didnt even flinch, "oh yeah, not yet. soon though" he sent the three girls a smile , who all looked suprised by his answer
he laughed to himself at the threes faces, "cmon i think were going to the gas station for some pre game snacks"
nelson turned away from the sisters, taking nico with him who was still blushing like crazy
"you blush easily" he pointed out as they followed the group
