2020

When Misuk left the Starship Entertainment building alongside her now confirmed group members, she was relieved. One less weight off her shoulders.

She was going to debut. She finally achieved something.

Misuk had already texted her parents, Jiwon and Sunghoon, all the people she trusted, receiving messages of love and excitement right away.

Her parents wanted to take her out for dinner, but she already had plans for the night. She was going out with the girls and it was her treat as the now reliable unnie.

Haneul, Jenn and Misuk were roomates on the trainee dorm before, and they did not expected to debut together at all.

Haneul was a former figure skater and Misuk recognized her the second she saw her. She always won at the competitions she hid in with Jiwon. Jenn was basically a british girl, even though she was born in Seoul, so Misuk would always go to her when she wanted to speak English. The three clicked right away, even if they had very different personalities.

Haneul was extremely smart, talented and a complete badass. Misuk was envious of the power she held. You felt intimidated just by looking at her. In reality, she was probably the most soft hearted of the trio.

Jenn was a menace. There wasn't a working braincell on that girl's brain. She loved to tease the older girls and her laugh was the most contagious one in the world. Misuk saw her as the little sister she never had.

Once they became friendly, Misuk couldn't help but tell Haneul she went to school with Sunghoon, the one she trained alongside. At that moment, Hanie realized Misuk was Sunghoon's seat mate, the girl he always talked about during practices.

That same midnight she found out about Misuk's crush and connected the dots immediately. These two have feelings for each other and they have no idea.

Once Sunghoon found out the girls knew each other, he was convinced the world was ending, his world at least. He begged Haneul to not tell Misuk about their long talks about her and she thought he was going insane, but she agreed to keep the secret. She made the same promise to Misuk.

"Can I invite someone to our dinner?" Jennie asked while looking at her phone. "It's just Yoona."

"Then I'll invite Jiwon" misuk chipped in, forgetting the fact that she was paying. "Maybe Sunghoon can come too, Han."

"Should we get drunk?" Jenn questioned with a very creepy smile on her face.

Haneul gasped at the 16 years old's words and looked at her like she just said the most offensive thing ever. "Park Jennie! What's wrong with you?"

"It was a joke, unnie, relax."

Misuk rolled her eyes and concentrated on texting her two friends the plans. The girls already knew where they were eating so she just sent the location to both and put her phone back inside her pocket.

There was an amazing steak place every Starship trainee loved going to after the monthly evaluations results were out and that, of course, was the chosen restaurant of the night. Misuk realized then, she was never going through that hell again.

"Girls, do you know we no longer have to do monthly evaluations, right?" she mentioned while opening the door for her members. "We are free."

"Oh, I'm gonna eat so much you will have to take me out of here in an ambulance" Jenn joked.

The girls sat down at the empty table at the back, the one with most seats, since they were expecting more people to join. When Jenn's best friend, Yoona, arrived, Misuk decided to check her phone to see if her friends had replied.
