When a music show ends, the messiness is unbearable. The worst part of it all are the corridors.

Producers leaving, staff crews running around in every direction, people filming tiktok challenges or taking pictures, the casual flirting and chattering between different groups. It was loud, even for someone who's a such extrovert like Misuk.

The girl tried to make her way through the crowd but, thanks to her nonexistent height, she kept getting pushed left and right. When Misuk was in front of Wonyoung's waiting room, she wanted to pat pat her head for surviving that craziness.

"Excuse me..." she said, only peeking her head through the door.

Wonyoung stood up immediately, overly excited, and told her to come in. Misuk bowed when she makes eyes contact with her staff. "Wonyoungie, you did so good today!"

"Congrats on the win!" she cheered. "I'm obsessed with your song, it's so good."

Misuk thanked her for that and their chitchat started with all the stories about her recent trip to Paris and how promotions were going for Nova. They even sit down on the big couch so they could be more comfortable doing all the talking.

Misuk was older by two years but she saw Wonyoung as she sees Jenn. She wanted the girl to trust her and tell her every single little worry she had so the burden wouldn't be that mad.

"Wonyoung-ssi! Thank you for...

Sunghoon, who walked in without a warning, went quiet when he noticed Misuk was in the room. Her friend quickly waved at him, feeling quite weird out to see him right there, right now, but he didn't need to know that.

"I'm sorry, I didn't know you were here" he muttered, slightly bowing.

"I was giving her a gift" Wonyoung explained. "What were you saying?"

Sunghoon handed the girl some Music Bank cards and a notebook, which Misuk wanted to ask what was it all about, but she toned down the curiosity to not make the situation more awkward than it already was. Why was it though?

"Thank you, I owe you one" he said, doing the cute bread smile he always does. "Sorry for interrupting again. See you later, Mimi!"

oh yes. we are having dinner together.

"Well, that was weird" Wonyoung giggled. "Isn't he your friend? Why was he acting all shy?"

"I have no idea" Misuk replied, still confused. "We are having dinner later and everything."

The girl raised an eyebrow and a cheeky smile appeared on her face. "Are you?"

"Don't start" she stopped her. "We are just friends."

"Maybe he got nervous when he saw you here, maybe he likes you! Unnie! He likes you!"

Miusk laughed. Loudly. A laugh that sounded more like a cry than an actual laugh. Jesus, she couldn't be this obvious even if she tried. "I think I should go."

She stood up, gave wonyoung a forehead kiss, grabbed the gift and made her way out before another word was said. Wonyoung was extremely aware of everything and everyone so Misuk didn't wanted her to find out about her silly crush.

When Misuk went back to the waiting room, everyone was gone, so she assumed they were filming some content outside. Misuk wasn't good at learning dances quickly so the other girls tend to do the challenges while she posted pretty pictures of herself. It's a win win.

She started packing things inside the staff's bags, something she normally helped them with, and by the time everyone got back, they were ready to go.

Misuk took a beanie out of her purse and put it on, moving her braids to the front so she didn't look that bad. The corridors were almost emptied out by now, yet they still passed by some groups.
