Back in Seoul, Misuk stepped into her dorm and was immediately hit with the familiar smell of the place. Everything was extremely quiet and that took her by surprise, the girls were supposed to be waiting for her at home.

As she reached for her phone, she noticed all the notifications coming in after not having signal for half of the car trip. She went straight to the Nova group chat to text them, but something caught her attention first.

Enhypen announces a new world tour.

"What..." she muttered under her breath, feeling a knot tighten in her stomach. Why didn't Sunghoon mentioned this when they talked earlier?

Misuk continued to read the article, too many dates and cities flashing before her eyes, slashing her heart into pieces for some reason. They never sat down to talk about how they are going to deal with being apart for so long?

Just as she processed the whole thing, a new message lightens up her phone. It was from Hana. She needed to attend a meeting about Nova's own tour plans as soon as possible.

That's why the girls are not home.

Misuk's thoughts raced as she launched herself onto the couch, throwing her phone at the table. Two intense schedules, two separate tours, and countless days and nights separated. Would their relationship survive the distance?

She got up, headed to the bathroom to have a quick shower. Misuk blamed herself for not bringing up this topic up before, because, now, she had no idea what she was supposed to feel or do. And Sunghoon was probably dealing with the same thing.

The whole time she spent getting ready, the car ride to the Starship building, increased the doubts and worries that she, somehow, buried the second they got together. Their relationship was never going to be normal, but she didn't thought much about it until now. The happiness of finally being with him kept her occupied.

"Unnie, did you know they were touring as well?" Haneul was the first to approach the girl, catching her right at the entrance.

Misuk shook her head. "Nope, he didn't say anything."

"That's weird, Ni-ki told me" Jenn added carelessly, not knowing how much that was going to hurt the oldest.

As the meeting unfolded, the reality sank in even deeper. People were discussing travel logistics, rehearsal schedules and promotional events while Misuk tried to participate, but her mind was completely scattered.

She couldn't stop thinking this was their reality for God knows how long they promote actively in their respective groups. They aren't going to be together for longer than a few months or quick visits in another country.

When the reunion finally ended, Misuk stepped outside with an awful headache. She was hoping for, at least, a text from Sunghoon explaining himself, but nothing.

"Mimi, are you okay?"

Haneul noticed how pale Misuk looked, so she rushed to her side, helping her walk to the elevator where Jenn was waiting for them.

"Don't overthink it, Misuk. You'll find a way."

Too late.

What if their schedules consumed them so much their love becomes a background prop and it completely fades into a ghost of their joint past?

Suddenly, her phone vibrated, sending her spiraling thoughts away. It was a call from Sunghoon.

"Mimi, are you home? Can we talk? I'm on my way there."

Misuk took a deep breath. She knew this scary conversation was inevitable, but hearing his voice was comforting her enough.

"I'm on my way too, wait there."

Jenn and Haneul decided to go get food together so the couple could have some time alone. Misuk leaves the elevator, feeling a little bit cold, and when she looked up, she sees Sunghoon waiting outside the dorm door, hands shoved deep in his pockets.

"Hey" she said, a soft smile trying to break through the tension in the air.

Sunghoon managed to smile a bit, but it faded as soon as they stepped inside and he gently shut the door behind them.

"I saw the news about your tour" Misuk started, her heart racing. "Stadiums? I'm so proud of you."

"I'm sorry for not telling you" he stated, running a hand through his hair. "I wanted to talk about it in person but I didn't know they were making the announcement so soon."

Misuk sat down at the huge couch, completely defeated. "What are we gonna do?"

"I don't know," he replied. "But we can't just throw away what we have."

"Maybe we should talk about we have more seriously... You know, this won't be easy" Misuk suggested hesitantly, knowing he wasn't going to react well.

Sunghoon immediately shook his head. "Nope, don't talk like that. We can make it work, together."

The singer runs off to where his girlfriend was laying, sat down next to her and placed his arm on top of her shoulders to bring her in for a hug. Misuk closed her eyes at the warmth of his embrace.

"What if the distance becomes too much? I can't bear the thought of us drifting apart..."

Sunghoon smirked, "You really think a little distance is going to scare me off? I'm going to send you crazy Tiktoks wherever I am, at any time."

A small chuckle escaped her lips, a flicker of relief washed her over. "Is that your grand plan?"

"Plus, I could always go to one of your concerts and make a surprise appearance on stage to kiss you" he teased. Misuk raised her eyebrows as a reply. "Okay, maybe not on stage, but I can do it backstage."

"Any of us going to one of our concerts is going to make us the talk of the town."

"Okay... And?"

His enthusiasm was infectious, Misuk can admit that.

"Okay, so we could schedule surprise visits and set a time for video calls" Misuk suggested, her heart swelling as they began to piece together a plan. "And you have to promise to send me Tiktoks every day. No exceptions."

"Deal!" Sunghoon declared. "And you have to remember that, no matter where we are, I was your first fan and I will always be the biggest one."

They continued to brainstorm cute ideas while they waited for the girls and Misuk felt so much more in peace now. She realized that, no matter what the future held, they were always there for the other, and that was enough then and it was going to be enough now.
