The rays of sunshine started to sneak through the curtains of Misuk's room, bothering Sunghoon, who was pacing back and forth like he was going insane.

His heart sank every time his girlfriend placed another piece of clothing inside her suitcase, as she packed for her weekend getaway with Jiwon.

"Can you please stop? You are driving me insane."

"Do you really have to go?" he asked again, laying down in the empty side of her bed.

Misuk looked over her shoulder, her eyes sparkling with mischief. "It's just a weekend, Hoon! You are busy and Jiwon already told you she was going to take care of me!"

He has never wanted to miss out practice as much as right now. Sunghoon loved skiing since he was little and he wanted to be there for Misuk's first time trying it out, but with a comeback happening soon, he couldn't afford escaping for a weekend.

Sunghoon's thick brows joined together in a slight frown. "I don't like the thought of you two going skiing alone, okay? What if something happens?"

"It's just a healing trip, babe" she reassured him gently, folding a leather jacket and putting it neatly in her suitcase. "We'll have fun and I will send you lots of pictures. I'll be back before you even know it."

Sunghoon crossed his arms, clearly unimpressed. "What if you decide to have too much fun? Who's making sure Jiwon doesn't go crazy?"

"Hey! I can hear you, you know!"

The girl was sitting on the living room, scrolling through her Instagram, while she waited for her friend to be done. She couldn't believe how silly this man was being, so she saw a perfect opportunity to mock him.

Jiwon chimed in, poking her head into the room with an exaggerated roll of her eyes. "Honestly, Sunghoon, I've seen puppies less clingy."

He felt his cheeks heat up as the girls tried to not laugh at his expression. He was being quite needy, wasn't he?

"I was just saying..." he mumbled, his pride slightly affected.

Misuk chuckled at his pout, and he couldn't help but crack a little smile. She put her brown hair behind her ears and ducked a bit to leave a soft kiss on Sunghoon's forehead.

It was the first time since they were officially together that they are going to be separated from each other for more than a day and knowing how hard comeback preparations are for Sunghoon, Misuk wanted him to be okay.

"You are gonna be fine, you're like my second boyfriend anyways."

"What are you saying!?" he echoed, clutching his chest. "I can't believe you're cheating on me already!"

Jiwon smirked, standing at the door. She was proud of her friend's jokes. "Relax, second boyfriend. She'll be back before you even miss her, and then you can spoil her with all the neediness you saved up."

Sunghoon rolled his eyes but couldn't hide his excitement over that. "You have a point."

"Yeah, I'm the smart one, remember!?" she screamed, going back to where she was before.

As Misuk looked around, trying to see if she missed up, Sunghoon stood up and hugged her from behind. "I'm going to miss you."

"I promise I will bring you the cutest souvenirs I can find."

Sunghoon sighed dramatically, a playful pout still on his lips. "You better! Or else I'll just keep haunting you with needy texts all weekend."

"I can't wait to make fun of you for that!"

Jiwon screamed out of nowhere, scaring the couple. Sunghoon's protests against the blonde girl's teasing mixed in with Misuk's laughter.

Misuk sometimes couldn't understand how the three of them were still together to this day, but she was glad that was the case. She met her soulmates so young that now she was lucky to spend the rest of her life besides them.
