Y/N'S (POV)..
Phoenix is carrying me through the woods far away from the Safe Haven..
Unsure of where Phoenix is taking me. I'm guessing we have walking for hours because the sun a little higher in the sky so it must be afternoon..
Another hour must've passed before I finally see the destination Phoenix is taking me..
A Cabin.. but I feel like I recognize it..
Phoenix unlocks the door and walks in.. He looks at me and says "You like it?"
I look around noticing a couch, table, some chairs, lights, a small kitchen, stairs going UP.. probably leading to some bedrooms.. and I also notice some stairs leading down..
I look over at Phoenix and say curiously "What's down there?" pointing to the basement.
Then I see him shake his head as replies.. "Sorry. My only orders were to bring you here and that's it"
"Whose orders?" I ask Phoenix stays silent.
I'm suddenly tired from the journey and decide to get some sleep on the couch..
I guess I'm out for another hour because when I wake up I see Phoenix at the door of the cabin talking to someone..
"Yeah she wasn't much trouble."
"Yes she's unharmed just like you asked."
"And NO Thomas won't find her."
This coming from Phoenix to whoever he's talking to..
Then I see the mystery man give Phoenix a wade of cash.. the mystery man's next words send a shiver down my spin..
"You did a Great Job. I could've never got her away from Thomas. I would've been easily suspected." Mystery man says..
I sit there wondering who Phoenix is talking to..
As I watch Phoenix leave I don't have to wonder long who the master mind is..
When I watch him as he walks back into the cabin.. my heart is racing but I stay calm..
"Who are you?" I ask the man Phoenix was talking to.
The man then steps into the light and I feel my mind spinning as I look at the figure standing right in front of me.
"Mitch?" I ask shocked..
Still sitting on the couch I cautiously watch him as he walks over to the table and says to me.. "Come on SNOWFLAKE. Your smart I figured by now you would've put the pieces together?" He tells me.
I sit there and it's like everything clicks.. "You tricked US! You were working with WICKED this whole time from the beginning back in the Maze?" I ask shock and anger building up inside me.
Mitch looks at me and what he says next confirms it.. "Before I arrived in the maze WICKED thought how could they get close to Thomas and then I was sent up into the Maze.. I got close to Thomas but I couldn't get him alone at all because you were always around.. Then Silver came into the picture with the doppelganger.. Oh was that fun to watch..
I'm listening to him but I don't want to believe it..
"What about Tyler and Hope adopting you? You're Tommy's Half Brother right?" I say unsure if I want to hear the answer..
"NO. I was already someone's son.. and your Brother killed them." He tells me and I can see the rage in his eyes..
"Who?" I ask..
"Who do you think? Ratman."
No wonder all of this was an act protecting me, caring about me it was all an act..
I watch Mitch as he walks over to me with a needle in his hand.. I try to get away but I'm still too weak from the FIRE...
He injects me with something and I suddenly feel extremely sleepy..
Just before my eyes close I hear Mitch say to me "Get some rest Snowflake."
Hearing Mitch say the nickname I fight through the sedation looking at him and respond "YOU DON'T GET TO US TOMMY'S NICKNAME FOR ME!"
He laughs shaking his head as I see him walk back over toward me with another needle in his hand..
"You are just as tough as Ever. I guess I'll have to give you a second dose." Mitch says as he injects me with a another dose..
Again I try to fight to get away from him but I feel so weak I NO energy..
As I feel the needle I hear Mitch say "Now get some rest. I need you with all of your strength for what I have planned next."
As Mitch leaves and heads upstairs I'm left on the couch thinking what could Mitch possibly have planned next for me? I have to get back to Tommy and Jaden. I have to ESCAPE!
