Y/N'S (POV)
As I'm laying on the shoreline thinking about everything that's happened to me and my family it all hits me so hard.. From the maze to somehow Me and Tommy's special connection activating again, then our escape, then Wicked, learning we weren't safe and had to escape again, to almost being taken by Ratman and Randall again.. I shudder at thought..
Then meeting everyone from Aris, Jorge, and Brenda, to learning Tyler and Hope are my father and mother but even more shocking that they are Alive.. Yeah that was definitely a shock..
And everything else.. From Tommy getting taken and getting his memories of us wiped clean..
But then he somehow remembered everything.. To all the times Tommy protected me, and saved me.. All the times I saved him, and protected him. Then when we finally took Wicked down for Good!!
But when we finally made it to Safe Haven.. Our New Home..
I sit on the shoreline smiling at the memories as I feel a pair of soft strong arms wrap around me..
I look to see Jaden sitting next to me as I move myself to lay my head on his lap..
He looks down at me and asks "Hey. What are you thinking about?"
I look out at the water with a small sad smile on my face. Then I tell him "I'm just thinking about everything that's happened for Me, Tommy, and the rest of the gladers.. I guess I'm just a little scared of what could happen next. Since it's all been bad."
Jaden looks at me and says "(Y/N) let me tell you something.." I look at him waiting for him to say something but he starts to sing..

I smile as the song ends..
I laugh.. looking at him.. "What is it with you and expressing yourself through songs?" I ask.
Jaden looks at me then responds.. "You don't remember but you used to laugh all the time at my singing before.." he stops almost as if he's trying to find the right words.
I gently place my hand on his and finish for him "Before Wicked made me sick?"
Jaden looks at me and I see the shock in his eyes that I even remember that Wicked was the reason for my Hydrocephalus..
I look at him and what I say next to him I even shocks myself.. "I guess Tommy and I have been so caught up in our special connection.. that I forgot about my condition.. then.. I say almost not wanting to say the words.. I take a deep breath as Jaden gently gives my hand a squeeze reassuring me that he's listening and I can take my time..
So as I continued.. "when my Hydrocephalus finally started becoming more intense.. it scared me.." I say to him almost on the verge of tears.. "Questions raced through my head..
"What's Tommy going to think?"
"Why did Wicked do this to Me?"
"Since there's NO CURE.. How long do I have with Tommy and the gladers?"
"Will I ever live a normal life without pain?"
I can feel myself almost on the verge of tears because of the anger towards Wicked and that they made me sick..
Jaden pulls me into a hug and we stay like that for I'm not sure how long..
He pulls apart when Newt stops by to bring us some food and an update on Tommy..
Newt tells me that Tommy is able to walk around but he's NOT allowed to work yet.. Hope doesn't want to risk him popping his stitches.. both Jaden and I nod..
Newt gets up and leaves but before he does he looks at Jaden and says "You better take care of her. If you break her heart. Tommy won't be the only glader coming after you! Bloody got it?"
I slightly giggle as I lean my head on Jaden's shoulder and look at his shocked yet a little scared reaction from Newt's comment..
When Newt is gone Jaden turns to me and asks "Should I be worried about your brother's friends coming after me if I break your heart?"
I giggle again as I turn around and say "No those Boys are just very protective of me since I was the only girl in their Glade." I told him..
As we walk back to my hut Jaden stops just before the steps.. I look at him and smile.. we kiss as I gently slip on one of the multicolored flowers that I made into a bracelet for him right on his wrist..
He looks down at the bracelet and smiles.. then he says something that makes my heart flutter..
"(Y/N) I LOVE YOU!"
