Y/N'S (POV)
I wake up and notice that Jaden is already in my room..
I slowly sit up in bed and watch him as he sets down grocery bags?
I'm puzzled why would he have grocery bags?.. I quietly watch him not making a sound.. as he starts pulling things out of the bags..
Lights?
A lot of Lights?
Christmas Tree?
Small decorations?
Finally I decide to ask him what he's doing..
"Jay What are you doing with all of that?" I say pointing to everything he brought..
"Oh You're Awake." He says with a big smile on his face as he comes over and kisses my cheek..
"Good to see you as well." I reply.
"Now! What are you doing?" I ask him again getting serious..
"Well I wasn't sure how long you'd be in the hospital after surgery.. So I asked Hope if I could decorate your room for Christmas." He tells me.
I smile.. "That's really sweet of you."
Once Jaden is finished my room looks amazing.. A small Christmas tree is on my table with lights and there's a picture of us as the tree topper, Christmas lights are all around the room and I turn them on and off without getting up.. but the SNEAKY thing Jaden did.. is Mistletoe just above the bed rest..
Jaden comes over and carefully sits next to me in bed.. then he asks me with my hand in his..
"What are your plans for today?" I look up at him and sigh.
"Well I have to start wedding planning. You have to find a tux." I say with a smile on my face.
"Ok. I guess I better get going." He says to me. I grab his hand and look at him a happy gleam in my eyes.. "Thank You Jaden. You've made me Happy." He steps forward and kisses my forehead then my lips.
I smile as I watch him leave my room..
Few hours later Still Y/N'S (POV)
Brenda, Teresa, and Sonya are all in room as I tell them about Jaden coming and Bringing the tree, and the lights and decorating..
"I think it's sweet. It lifts your spirits while you're away from each other." Teresa tells me..
I just nod my head knowing she's right..
"So what's the plan for the wedding?" Brenda asks me.
I look at them and start telling them my idea..
"I was thinking you three could be my bridesmaids then Tommy, Newt and Minho could be Jaden's groomsmen?"
I continue with my idea for the wedding.. Um maybe Hope and Tyler could walk me down the isle?
Then Jorge could do our vows? I finish.
I look at them waiting to hear How ridiculous this wedding is going to be..
"Yeah Jorge would totally do that for you. I mean you are almost like a second daughter to him." Brenda says.
"And I love the pairings for us and the gladers. That just means we all have a dance partner as well." Teresa says. Making me laugh..
"Remember it's my wedding and I get a dance with my brother." I say to her.
"Of course" she says patting my shoulder.
"Plus Tyler and Hope walking you down the isle so sweet." Sonya tells me..
I smile at them..
"Ok what about a dress? Do you have a dress picked out?" They ask me..
I smile and reveal light baby blue silk dress with gems on it..
"Oh (Y/N) you are going to look like a princess.. especially when you add your Hydrocephalus bandana.. WOW." They tell me.
"Thanks." I tell them.
We finish the last little bit of Wedding details like seating.. I'm gonna let Jaden handle music..
Once finished the girls leave and there's a knock on my door..
"Come in. " I say.
Thomas walks in..
"WOW did you?" Before he even finishes I say it "No Jaden did all this.
Tommy walks over to bed and sits down right next to me then he starts talking "(Y/N) it's tradition for the bride to have something borrowed, blue, and new on her wedding day.. I know you and Jaden haven't set a date yet but.. he starts again.. I can tell he has something to get off his chest and it's NOT good news..
"What is it Tommy? It's me Talk to me. Please!" He's starting to scare me when he doesn't speak.
I grab his hand and yell his name "SHUCK IT TOMMY Tell me!"
This snaps him out of his trance he was in.. as he gently places a brown leather brown bracelet around my wrist.. I look at it and see my name is on it..
I look back at Tommy and I see tears in his eyes..
"I'm sorry Snowflake." I'm confused why is he sorry?
Then I see it a note has been slipped into the braclet.. I carefully get the note out as I'm about to read it Tommy comes over and kisses my forehead and then leaves..
I watch him then I see it the reason Tommy has to leave.. the reason he's sorry.. Hank the police officer who works with an intelligence unit and wanted Tommy to join but he said "No."
I sit in my hospital bed as I read Tommy's letter: Dear Snowflake, This isn't how I wanted you to find out especially with you and Jaden getting ready to plan your wedding. I can't tell you how sorry I am for not being with you on your special day. I'm sure you had a special dance planned just for us.
Hank came by to see me while you were in surgery and requested my service. I'm not sure how long I will be gone. I told Jaden and asked him to decorate your room for Christmas.
Hope, Tyler, and the rest of the gladers also know that I will be gone. Don't worry Snowflake I'll be back as soon as I can.
I can't wait to see you in that beautiful dress and get all the wedding details from Brenda!

As soon as I'm done reading the letter I'm on my feet and rushing to elevator to try and stop Tommy from leaving.
But my body is still too weak from the surgery.. I fall to the floor but a pair of gentle yet strong arms wrap around me..
I just sink into them.. "Jaden he's leaving me. Why is Tommy leaving?" I ask in between sobs..
Jaden waits for me to calm down then he carefully lifts him back into bed..
"I'm staying right here. I'm not going anywhere." He tells me.
I smile and watch as he grabs a chair and makes himself comfortable while holding my hand as I fall asleep.
