Y/N'S (POV)
I wake up and see Jaden isn't in the makeshift hut..
So I decided to get up and get dressed in a plaid dress and short brown boots I also put on my blue ribbon bandana.
I then walk outside the hut and down the shoreline and find myself lost just looking at the water.. I don't even hear him come up behind me until he wraps his arms gently around my waist.
"Have I ever told you that you look absolutely cute in that bandana?" He tells me..
I turn around with a smile on my face "Well I do like it. It makes me feel normal and not feel like I'm the girl with Hydrocephalus since I had my surgery." I say in a low voice..
Jaden looks at me and he's shocked. "Hydro is this just because you lost most of your hair after you had brain surgery?"
I look at Jaden shake my head Yes and respond "I just don't feel.." I almost can't say the words..
"What you don't feel loved?" He asks me.
I just shake my head Yes.
Hydro let me tell you something "You are loved more than you know.. by Thomas, the gladers and especially loved by me. I won't ever leave You in your darkest moments with your Hydrocephalus I will be around for every single high and low you experience. We are on this crazy Journey together." Jaden tells me kissing my forehead.
I look up at him and smile.. thinking How did I get so lucky to find him?
Later that same day:
Jaden and I are sitting together on the shoreline when Tommy comes for a visit.
"Hey Snowflake. I get up and show him the necklace with the biggest smile on my face.
"Look What Jaden gave me. Isn't it pretty? He mentioned you made it for me. Thank You Tommy. I say wrapping my arms around his waist.
"Well I'm glad you like it." Tommy says.
Thomas motions for Jaden to talk for second.. so stay where I am looking at my ring necklace..
Jaden's (POV)
Thomas looks at me and says "Hope had mentioned to me that (Y/N) might need to have another brain surgery sometime in the future."
I look at Thomas and reply"But anytime soon Right?"
Thomas looks at me and says"Jaden we don't know. We just have to keep an eye on her, and keep her Safe."
With those words Thomas leaves.
The words are spinning around in my head to keep (Y/N) safe.. Another Brain Surgery.. more surgery.
I look over at (Y/N) and see her smile..
I can't even imagine her going through that again.. as I walk over to (Y/N) and gently pull her into me..
Y/N'S (POV)
I smile up at Jaden after he pulls me in for a hug.. and I sing..

I smile and respond.. Goodnight Jay.
While I'm laying there trying to fall asleep.. I don't think Tommy or Jay realize that I heard their whole conversation about what could happen if I had another brain surgery cause of my Hydrocephalus.
And I can't help but think to myself "What if I do have another brain surgery and it results in me forgetting Tommy, the gladers and Jaden." I shudder at the thought. But I feel Jaden's hand gently rub the back of my own.. I open my eyes to see him sleeping in the chair and he's gently rubbing the back of my hand.
I smile to myself and think how lucky I am to have Jaden come into my life when he did. He saved me.
