My Light In The Cure

Part 59

                           Y/N'S (POV)

I wake up walk over to a window and glance outside and notice that Jaden is working on his Jeep..

I quickly get dressed in a green sweater, black jeans, and black boots..

Right when I step outside Jaden sees me he walks over to the driver side rear door reaches in and pulls out a black leather jacket..

"Here put this on it will keep you warm." He tells me with a smile.

I smile taking the jacket as I slip it on.

Jaden then looks at me and asks..

"What are you going to do today?"

I smiled at him then responded..

"I'm just taking a walk through the woods. I haven't done that in a while."

"Just be careful Hydro." He tells me as he kisses my forehead.

I giggle at the jester as I leave..

              A few minutes later:

I had only been walking in the woods for a few minutes when I suddenly hear whimpering sounds coming from a few feet away..

I quietly walk toward what could be making the whimpering sounds and I discover two small children..

They look to be about NO older than 4 and 5..

A little boy with brown hair and brown eyes and hiding behind him is a little girl same color hair and same eye color..

I carefully get down to the kid's level..

"It's ok. I'm not gonna hurt you. Can you tell me your names?" I ask in a sweet voice..

The boy stands protectvily in front of his little sister.. then replies..

"I'm not letting You Take Her Away!"

I raise a hand and look at both then say "I'm not trying to take you away. I'm trying to Help you."

I glance over at both and see they have scratches and bruises.. probably from escaping some place..

"Listen if I tell you my name will you tell yours and your sister's?" I ask them.

The boy nods.. Yes.

"My name is (Y/N). What about you two?" I ask them.

The boy looks at me and says "My name is Logan and her name is Laura."

After learning the names of the kids I have another question to ask..

"Where are your parents?" I ask them.

I'm dreading the answer..

I see Logan ball his fists in anger..

Laura then comes over and places one of her small hands on top of his..

"Bad People took us away from them. We NEVER saw them again. But we escaped and that's when we somehow made it to this island." Logan tells me.

I feel my heart ache this is just like mine and Tommy's sibling relationship..

"Where are you going to go now?" I ask Logan.

Logan looks at me then responds..

"Laura and I will stay in the woods. We will be fine."

I shake my head at his answer..

"No you're not staying in the woods another night.. You and Laura are going to come live with me and my husband.. Trust me we have plenty of room and you both will have lots of uncles and aunts.. so a lot of love with a BIG family!" I tell them both.

"What do you say?" I ask.
Waiting for an answer..

Logan and Laura both look at me..

"I'm not sure." Logan starts but Laura has the last word..

"YES!! Logan we are gonna have a HOME with a MOMMY and DADDY! Let's Go HOME Logan.. Please!" Laura pleads with her Big Brother even puppy eyes..

I laugh at Laura because that puppy eyes trick always worked on Tommy.

Logan sighs and gives in.. "All right Laura you win."

Laura jumps up down while holding Logan's hands excited..

The kids are super excited to see the hut.. but How am I going to explain this to Jaden?..
